Needed a part for my excavator and Meade Tractor in Bluefield WVA had it in stock. Nobody around the tri-cities had it and was gonna be days to order and receive it. They held it for me and it got my machine back to work. I greatly appreciate you guys at Meade Tractor for the job you do. It doesn't go unnoticed.

Ordered a Stihl FS 561 Brush cutter. It was on back order but Scott at Meade Tractor was able to get it a week earlier than expected. Top notch customer service when I went to pick it up.

Go somewhere else. I have spent thousands of dollars with JD and recently sold all of my Deere equipment and switched to Scag. I Purchased a brand new Kombi unit from here, took it to my work site and it would not start. Took it back to the service department and they “fixed the issue” without contacting me first. I was then charged $60 for a carb tube-up that did not even fix the problem. The unit had not been used and I even purchased the extended warranty. They refused to release the unit because I did not want to pay the fee on a BRAND NEW UNUSED UNIT. They had the audacity to state “well yeah we should have probably called you first before charging you”.

Then they said “that is the parts department’s problem, they are responsible for this” and began pointing fingers blaming everyone else that works in the store. Nothing was resolved, nothing was fixed and I walked out feeling scammed for $60. The service department manager and attendant were both rude.

So glad I went to Meade tractor. Purchased the x370 mower a great mower good ride the power steering is awesome and lots of power. Mowed great no scalping. I feel like I’ll get good service from Meade Tractor.

I was needing to schedule a repair and order some parts for my tractor. I left an original message and then left another message a couple of days later. I finally received a return call over week after my second message. I spoke with a guy named Pat He asked how he could help. I thanked Pat for returning my call, but since I had left a couple of messages previously and had no response until now. I was left with no choice but to call another local John Deere dealer. Pat his reply in a very rude tone of voice said. If you took the tractor to James River. Do not call here any longer.

Operating a small business equipment downtime means losing money. Good customer service is always important to retain business and word of mouth is a way to gain or lose business. I will be sure to spread the word around about my experience with Pat and Meade Tractor. FYI the one star rating is being very generous in my opinion.

The new manager Patrick Straley has a very bad attitude. The equipment is all overpriced and so is prices for repairs. Husqvarna and Cub Cadet are much better with longer service warranties.

A great experience!!!! Scott Coon was my Sales Rep and did an excellent job. He sold me the product.. had it ready when I got there.. told me all the features and operating instructions!!! Scott is a real asset to your Company!!! Thank you all again!!!
