I like these guys. They are pleasant to deal with and will accommodate after hours needs. The place is clean and the recipes are good. I have taken dozens of deer here over the years and am super pleased with the current owners and what they are doing with the place. When I take them a big deer, I get two heavy bags and when I take them a doe I get one smaller bag. I know they are giving me my deer because it is always consistent with what I drop off. The cost reflects the quality of service and product.

Recently moved to the area from out of state. I wasn’t sure who to go to for deer processing around here, and decided to give this place a try.
The folks were super friendly and easy to deal with. Their shop was clean & I got my deer back in 7 days. The jalapeño cheddar snack sticks were amazing!
To my knowledge, this please never stopped taking deer throughout the season, unlike some of the other local options. They were always prepared for the business. I will gladly be a repeat customer.

Hands down the best deer sausage I've ever ate. Clean Facility at all times. The owner and his crew went over and beyond for me. They made a special trip to take a deer at 10:30pm. Says alot!

Cleanest, most professional processor around it is important to know your weight to yield ratio before complaining on what you actually take home. These guys hit the nail on the hammer when it comes to good tasting venison!!! As a former employee I can assure you the new owner as of mid 2021 is doing the best he can to make sure you have a wonderful experience at high cotton meats even if you have had bad service prior to him taking ownership

I've been doing business with this place for over 5 years and everytime I'm greeted with a handshake along with excellent service and professionalism! I try my best to tell everyone else that I know that's a deer hunter to allow them to process your deer because they won't be disappointed!

Awesome folks to deal with and you can’t beat the cleanliness that they maintain at their location. Some people talk about the pricing being high but you get what you pay for when it comes to this stuff. Again, great place and people!

Decided to try this place out with the last deer i harvested. It was a medium size doe, and i was charged an arm and a leg. I paid $125 for a "processing fee" deposit which doesn't include the basic cuts. Paid a extra $65 when i picked it up for 10 lbs of breakfast sausage. If you use a card, they charge a extra $15. All in all, i spent approximately $210 and only got half of a brown paper bag in meat.

My friend killed two doe in the delta. One of which was the largest the farmer and his brother who owned the land had ever seen. First problem they were to be processed separately, one for my friend and the other for myself, "they were not". Second problem three paper grocery sacks maybe 1/3 to half full, maybe. They were supposed to be processed and bagged separately. One for my buddy and the other for myself. The amount and weight of the sacks didn't add up to the two huge doe we dropped off. If the owner would have seen these two doe then he would have agreed that they were abnormally huge for doe. Even the guy helping unload them commented they were massive and was in awe they were even doe. "They were skinned and gutted." Two hundred and sixty dollars for no more than what was in those sacks, I left it with them. Very disappointed. Will spread the word unless others should experience the same problems we had. This in no way justified what we dropped off. To top it all, the owner of 301 processing only argued about what we dropped off even though he never seen the deer. Imagine that?

I did not ask for a discount as the owner stated. So why would anyone even attempt to lie when they have nothing to loose? Only told the store keeper that Daniel quoted me 125 per deer - 250.00 for two but I said if the 10.00 extra was for the fat I understand. Exact words. The owner himself offered me a discount over the phone if I would come back and pick the meat up. "Said he didn't want me telling people that I wasn't satisfied." I told him to give it to someone who needed it more than we did. He previously said it would be 125.00 each processing fee but sent me a text for 260.00 for two deer. And I did go to pick it up but refused it after seeing the small quantity of meat. For 3.94 lb processing fee, no way. Ground beef at Walmart is only 3.31 to 4.38 lb. And 4.38 is ground chuck.
The size of the deer that others dropped off had nothing to do with what we dropped off. There's no way for him to guess the weight of the deer before it was skinned no more than he could guess what someone's weight could have been before they lost it all. (Moore's Meat Market) in Batesville Ms. on #6 Hwy only charges 75.00 processing fee. The only reason I went to 301 it was recommended by my previous processor.
I never had a problem with my previous processor. Only raved about him and the awesome job he always did.
