As a heavy haul driver I have found myself here a few times. Every time I’ve delivered or picked up, the process went pretty smooth. Everyone is friendly, professional with a get the job done safely attitude.

If I had one complaint it would be the level of dust in the staging area. Trucks get moving pretty fast through there and if one is getting things set up. They get blasted out with dust. This is more from the lack of respect from fellow drivers rather than an issue with Nucor.

Loading here was easy however the crain op was new and it took 3 trips around the circle and having to re-weigh 3 times took forever...

Picked up an unusual load here 5/8/18. Guard house courteous and professional, promptly arranged for an escort to an unusual plant location. Mill staff excellent, quickly loaded me. Pleasantly rearranged my deck after we discovered the axle weights were unbalanced.

slow loading, 7-9 hours, line of at least 10 trucks, I even confirmed the pickup appointment earlier, that did not help at all, they are liars! Rude people at shipping,scale and everywhere, worst experience at a steel company ever. Truckers be aware and stay away!
