Kirkwood has the best unique wines you will ever try! Morgan has moved to a new location not too far and it's awesome! Must try the cinnamon apple Moonshine drink with honey around the rim. So yummy!

We absolutely love this place. Everytime we visit this area we stop in for a wine tasting and to buy some goodies. We got to taste all the amazing fruit wines and some bourbon. The person helping was very personable and pleasant, so that made the wine tasting even better. We gladly bought some wine and bourbon to take home with us. 🍷

Nailed it. Rolled in with 4"of snow on the ground and had a great tasting with Mark. He was a great historical reference. The bourbon was smooth and the wine was deliciously sweet.

Stop in and get 10% off a case of wine. We did. Some great coffee table books and noshes.

We had an drema host us at the Kirkwood winery. She showed us the the process of wine-making and distilling of other beverages. She was very knowledgeable and very kind. She let us try some of the wine. We definitely recommend trying the wines. There was quite a few we liked. We bought 12 wines! Highly recommend!

I stopped by for pink weekend and picked up a couple of bottles of wine for my friends for Christmas and one for myself. The salesman was very friendly, but I have found they are always friendly here. I always like to bring my friends here when they visit from out of town.

Visited on a whim with some friends during our New Years trip to Summersville and had an amazing time. Christopher gave us a great wine tasting of as many of Kirkwoods' wines as we wanted and they were delicious. We are a wine-savvy crew and have been to several wineries before and this one had the most unique flavors we had experienced before - spiced apple, winesap apple. moonglow pear. We really appreciated the hospitality and the education into how the wines are made and what foods they pair well with. Kirkwood also produces whiskey and moonshine so they truly offer something for every palette. We can't wait to pass by again and visit! Thank you for a great experience!

We drove down to see Dillon Carmichael who was there for the wine and music fest. Plus many other artists that we were introduced to. Like Mikele Buck band, and Thomas Gabriel who happens to be Johnny Cash's grandson.
The wine was great and the vendors had some pretty good food. We just kicked back and listened to music for 2 days. Definitely worth the time to stop by if ever in Summerville WV.

Great winery and distillery with great people working there. Whether you drop in as a local trying to buy some malic acid and yeast booster for your home brew or you're an out of towner there for the tour and tasting, it's always a great time with great people. It's a small operation, but I can't recommend the tour enough. So much history packed in one place, and they know how to explain their product from still to barrel. If you're in the area, go have a great time, and consider picking up some supplies to make your own great wine or just enjoy their selection.
