I know everyone's experience is different, but my mom has been in this facility since November 12 and she loves it. All the staff are helpful and accommodating and they go above and beyond to help when needed. I do think sometimes when hitting the call button it takes a while for someone to come but when you think about how many people are housed there and how many people they have working it's not the facilities fault. The majority of the time mom loves the food. Compared to what they serve in the major hospitals in the region their food is far superior to anything she has had before. The nurses and staff do for her what I am unable to do and that is exactly what she and I both needed. I visit her daily and I leave every day knowing they are doing the best they can for her and I have peace of mind with that. Is the facility and staff perfect, no they aren't, but they do the best they can with what they have and the time they have. We have had some clothes go missing before too but if you ask nicely and let them know what is missing they will go out of their way to help locate it. The administrative staff have went out of their way to explain paperwork to me and help me with the medicaid process which can be confusing and time consuming. My experience with the Marmet Center has been a positive one.

First let me say today was the Christmas party at the Marmet Center it was wonderful everyone had a great time! The employees on Mary’s garden side are exceptional wonderful employees they take very good care of my mother! AND I HOPE THEY GET A GOOD CHRISTMAS BONUS BECAUSE THEY DESERVE IT AND MORE!!

All the nurses and staff are wonderful! They go above and beyond to meet the needs of the patients. They even have a mascot! I forgot the dogs name but he made my heart joyful by his friendly little self! Im sure he brings joy to all the resident's there!!

My sister has been a resident here for 16 months now. She has continued to get the best of care. The staff is exceptional. They are available to answer your questions. They care about the residents. We visit regularly and see the residents play games, have church, celebrate holidays and birthdays. All of the staff are amazing. We are truly thankful for this center. We have never seen one like it. We thank you for such loving care of our sister, mother, and grandmother. We know she is being well taken care.

My grandmother absolutely loves this place. The staff is amazing and always goes the extra mile to make her feel at home. I never have to worry about leaving her here because everyone treats her like family.

I went to visit my mother in law today for the first time since she was released to this place. My husband has been once before. She has only been in here less than a week. The only shining light to this place was the LPN Ashley. She was helpful and gave me the information to get her better cared for. My mil has altimers and the condition she was in is horrible. My husband and I will be coming back out in the morning after I get off work to address the condition and concerns of her treatment. I assure you that my mil will not be staying in such conditions. I walked into her room and she was almost falling off the bed with no mats to help her
I understand WV has a no railing law due to restrictions on restrainants but to let a fragile and very malnutrition woman be in that situation is asking for them to get hurt. Her breakfast was uneaten and cold by the time we arrived at 9:15am and uneaten because she isn't able to feed herself. I asked about getting someone to help her eat and was informed that if she drops more wait then they would assign someone to feed her. No that is unexceptable. She is already less than 90lbs and can't afford to lose anymore weight. She went to the hospital due to being sick with infection and a clot. They released her to this place without letting anyone know and both the hospital and this death trap will be held accountable. See you in the morning.
