When in Gilbert, WV make this a stop! Chad was so friendly and explained the distillery history! Neat place to see and stop for a drink

THE BEST place to eat, have drinks and relax in a great atmosphere with even better staff. We travel out twice a year and always make the distillery/ bar and grill a priority. Their food is amazing! We haven’t tried anything we didn’t love. The owners and wait staff are top notch!! The moonshine cannot be beat! We store ours in the freezer to enjoy between visits. The quality and consistency is out of this world! This small business definitely knows what they are doing!

Bought 4 bottles put them in the freezer. They froze completely literally drink the whole bottle and did not even get buzz I’m 5’5 and size 4 and blew n breathalyzer and guess what I got legal able to drive after drinking the whole thing ! If it was moonshine, it would not Gone down like butter it was just like fruit juice the other bottle our friends tried and they said it was just like drinking Kool-Aid Not one person got buzz and did not burn like the samples !! It would’ve not froze completely !! This is out of the deep freezer 4 hours ! If you get samples, it’s real you can get a bottle it’s not!! Probably the locals get the real moonshine’. So if you wanna waste your money $120 of fruit juice. By the way My husband DOES NOT drink ALCOHOL AT ALLL and he drank half OF ONE of the bottles and NOTHING!!!! And prove that I know I got the bottle there you were gonna get your wife Lexus but you got BMW because would last longer not !!

Hatfield and McCoy Distillery is such a cool place to stop and see. The family history is something that should NEVER be lost to time. We enjoyed a couple beers, sampled some bourbon and had great conversation with Chad and another young man that we did not get his name. Bought a bottle of bourbon, which Chad signed, a book of the history of the Hatfields, also signed and a T-shirt. We did not get to have lunch as we were a little too early for the kitchen. We will go back just to hang out and have a beer or bourbon and say hello. Thank you Bishop/Hatfield for being so gracious. We are enjoying getting the know this history of your family.

Amazing food, amazing drinks, and amazing service. The view was so pretty, and our Waitress mckayla was so kind. Definitely recommend if you're in town stopping by thos jewl.

The place was pretty neat from what we saw online. It was a really cool spot... we bought 2 things of Moonshine as well. The blackberry shine was pretty good & then we got the straight shine. We put the shines in the freezer last night & earlier today went to take a shot & it was FROZEN ! The straight shine was completely frozen. Couldnt believe it... Such a bummer, esp if its 90 proof. The little guy helping us didn't seem too thrilled either.

A great family owned business. Chad and his staff make you feel like family from your first visit. The different offerings of moonshine are incredible. Was so happy to add their moonshine to our home bar. Can't wait to go back.
