Prior to purchasing a fan unit I had a question about the application I had in mind. Wanting to be sure that I was purchasing the correct unit, I submitted a question via the website. Within 5 minutes a customer care representative called me and helped me make the correct choice for my needs. That was homerun number one.
My next pleasant surprise was when the package arrived. The unit is extremely well made, quiet and pushes a lot of air!
I could not be happier with the experience. I highly recommend these folks! From customer service, to products, to speedy delivery, they get it right.

Had a terrible experience with this company!
I ordered a high-volume fan for a basement remodel. The product didn't ship out for 9 days, and I was not notified of any kind of back order or delay. To keep up with our construction schedule, I was forced to call them and expedite the shipping ($140).

The fan arrived and was completely different than the photos or description on the website. The product photos show an exhaust fan with a circular 6" vent and square form factor; actual product has a 12" rectangular vent connection and a much larger rectangular form factor. Way to big for residential installation. The product specifications page did not specify the vent size or shape. The company claims the photos are "representations" and are not accurate, and that the "actual" dimensions are buried inside a 30pg installation manual.

I opted to return the product, knowing I'd have to foot the bill for shipping. The RMA form they sent me apparently had the WRONG address on it. This put me out $50 in shipping to the wrong address in WA, and another $90 to ship it to the actual address in Florida. Again, the company denied any mistake or miscommunication and said it was the manufacturer's RMA form.

At the end of the month-long disaster, the company only refunded me 75% of the product price, refusing to waive the 25% restocking fee, saying "they did nothing wrong". All of this, despite their incorrect and misleading product page, the delayed shipping, and their blatantly incorrect RMA form.

To recap, I paid $680 for a $390 product, and only got refunded $300.
Avoid this company at all costs and find another distributor!

We got the Outdoor Rated Air Circulator Fan 18 inch 3120 CFM 3 Speed in white to hang in our patio area. Excellent choice! The fan works great with good air output plus it stays out in the weather. Don't have to worry about bringing in from the rain since it is outdoor rated. The cord is long, it swivels left and right and up and down. Perfect purchase! Thanks!

Misleading info in the shipping process.

This was my first time with them. I ordered big high volume fans. Once the order was placed, then I learned the fans needed to be constructed first (7-10 days). At that point I would get shipping notice and tracking information. I didn't. I called them and they told me the fans were shipping the next day. That day came and went, still no tracking info. I called again the next day. I was assured they shipped out the previous day and that the packing slip was just holding up the tracking info. Then the tracking info came with an estimated delivery date within our project time frame. The delivery date came and went. No fans. I called again. Final outcome? I suspect the fans were still sitting in the loading dock at the manufacturer in New York. No firm info was given me on when they would actually ship and arrive... The volunteer crew I had in place to install them in a rural school gym was already on the ground working on other projects and time had run out for them.

I will give IFD this: they gave me all the money back. This was after warning me I might have to pay a 25% restocking fee and return shipping if it was already on the truck somewhere (which I would have fought)... My guess is that they discovered the fans never left the loading dock, even though I was told they were "in transit" by customer service reps AND the shoddy tracking info from the freight company.

I like to support small companies but after this, I am pretty sure Amazon, NorthernTool or Grainger would have outperformed this experience.

The fan I ordered had minor shipping damage when it arrived. This company went above and beyond in addressing my concerns. Highly recommend! Will definitely use their services in the future.

Shipment was late of 2 weeks when we said a lot of times that we needed it shortly.
Delay were not respected.
Customer services not responding half the time or giving false informations.
Final Product was still very good!

Great product, easy to install and works well in my new barn. Did have trouble with the speed controller as the fan ONLY works with the OEM controller....which is a lot more expensive than the standard controller. ALso needs 5 wires which means conduit and wire vs a more standard MC / romex install. Great fan just be carfeful when ordering / wiring
