We called Drain Pro as hired guns on a very large, complicated grease trap job requiring equipment that we didn't have. Will arrived on time in the wee hours of the morning with the vac truck and hot jetter and stayed later than anticipated to help get the job done. Very professional. We will use Drain Pro again when we need some additional hired guns for a complicated job.

We had experienced an emergency; all the rain etc. had caused my septic system to overflow, and we were looking at a mess. A friend made some phone calls and got a hold of Chase at Drain-Pro.Chase called me, and set me up for an emergency service call at 10:00 at night!. It took a bit for the technician to be able to come out on a late Sunday evening, but by 11:30, the tech (his name is Brandon) arrived, took stock of the situation, and began to work. He had to dig up the tank (by hand) to get to the drains, and by 2:30 am, he had not only emptied out the tank, but he also cleared the input and output lines, ensuring that our tank flowed as it should. He then cleaned up the mess that the overflow had caused, back-filled the dirt over the tank and was on his way home. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of Chase and Brandon, especially Brandon. He was as nice as he could be, took stock and ownership of the situation, and performed his job flawlessly. Expensive? Well, considering it was an emergency call, and Brandon had to go over and above to fix the problem, I'd say it was worth every dollar I spent to save my house from an over-flowing tank. Thank you Drain-Pro; thank you Chase for your quick and timely set-up for my call, and THANK YOU Brandon! These folks are professionals all the way - and they will do you a great job also.

Sharing my frustration with using Drain-Pro. We had an issue with with a stench coming out of our stand up shower drain. We tried a different company who basically told us to try using cleaners and that should solve the smell. That didn’t work. That company told us we should crawl under the house to see if there was a leak in one of the drain pipes. They didn’t want to do that themselves. Issue persisted so that was a waste of nearly 400 bucks.

My wife and I then turned to Drain-Pro for help. The tech was friendly but basically began to repeat the same steps as the prior company. I advised him that those step were already taken. He told me he would likely need to remove our toilet so that he could use a camera to check the drain. He groaned at the idea of doing that and didn’t stick a camera down our drain.

I spoke with him about the possibility of a leaky pipe under the house. He groaned at that idea as well. He was a larger man so I get it, but there was still plenty of room. He switched up gears and started looking at our septic tank (though he was not a septic specialist). He stated our issue was with our septic tank filter. He couldn’t replace it at the time so he rinsed it with our hose. He gave my number to a septic specialist of theirs. That specialist called me and told me that the filter was likely the problem and if that didn’t fix it we should just have the tank pumped which would solve our problem. The visit with the drain tech (who didn’t examine the drain) cost us $299.98. He also sat in his truck drafting an eleven sentence report which took him approximately 40 minutes.

A lot of that time he was on his phone. I was going to bug him and see what the hold up was as the extra time costed me money, but I thought otherwise because he was a nice guy and he had diagnosed our problem.

A couple weeks later, two techs came out and changed our septic tank filter. A third tech came with them and pumped our septic tank. That visit cost us about 1k.

Maybe three days later the stench returned. My wife and I thought maybe it was a part of the issue and the gases just needed to purge a bit before the smell would ultimately go away. The problem grew worse and worse. The problem was not fixed after Drain-pro told us it would be fixed.

After several weeks (I should have called sooner rather than waiting to see if it would be go away) I called the main office and explained the situation. The gal who answered the phone was polite and stated a manager would call me back “in just a few minutes”. Well a week went by and I didn’t get a call back. I called the main office again and a different lady told me the same thing. A manger would be calling me back “in just a few minutes”.

Three days after the second call I received a call from “Matt”. I explained my situation to Matt and expressed my frustration about the lack of response (I did not swear or raise my voice once).

Wouldn’t you know it, Matt told me they would need to use a camera to check the drain which is exactly what I requested the first tech to do in the initial visit! Matt told me that it would cost us $205 an hour to have them check the drain with a camera. I asked Matt to help us a little bit on account of spending over 1k dollars without the problem being fixed, and the delay with their response. Matt told me he would see what he could do and that he was call me back.

Matt called me back this morning (3/25/25) and told me the best thing he could do is send another tech out (who was skinny) that could put a camera down the drain and crawl under the house to check the pipes.

I asked Matt if he could help us and not charge us for the first hour due to the breakdown of customer service and the fact the initial tech told us the steps we took would solve our issue. Matt said something along the lines of, “oh no I can’t do that. I mean you said the problem was fixed for a couple of days.” Are you kidding me?! lol

Terrible customer service! I didn’t ask for the moon, I asked for 1 hour to be comped to diagnose the problem.

This company is awesome to work with. The two individuals that worked on our main sewer line worked endlessly to remove the issue and fixed the issue. Great employees with great attitudes in the work they do. They also didn't charge the crap out of me in fixing the problem. Very fair company to work with.
