I love TB's. Their fruit and veggies are always fresh and plentiful. Fish selection is great. Tons of different spice choices at reasonable prices. My only wish is that they sliced their own deli meat. The stuff they have only comes in thick slices and I am not a fan.

I’ve shopped here many times. I live here in Puyallup for almost 20 years. This evening, 04/ 13. I purchased two tenderloins and one new York steak. Disgusting. Like trying to chew a rubber tire. I’m willing to pay top dollar for quality steaks. This isn’t it. I will continue to buy gold grade cuts from Snake River Farms. Something you can chew through. Tacoma Boys, you let me down on this one.

Still love this place! Get my favorite steaks here. My brother and husband both absolutely love these specific steaks (in photos). It's pricy but eating healthy and local always is. I find it hard not to grab many amazing items as I walk through.

Always some very good prices on the best quality locally grown fruit, vegetables, and meat, especially if you shop the weekly specials.

Most"pantry items" are very expensive, but are high quality items from small specialty suppliers. I wish more of those things were within my budget, but that's my problem not theirs.

The fruit quality is outstanding and there's always something great that's priced very low. Most recently I bought Comice pears for $1.99/lb that are the same paper wrapped "Christmas pears" that are packed in expensive mail order gift boxes. Absolutely incredible.

Don't miss their huge wall of their own brand of very large jars of herbs/spices that are much larger, cheaper, and higher quality than the regular grocery store.

They only have a few choices (usually a few kinds of turkey, ham, and roast beef), but their sliced deli meats are top quality and very significantly cheaper than any grocery store.

So yes, it's generally considered an expensive specialty market, but a smart shopper familiar with their offerings can get some of the best stuff cheaper than the big grocery stores.

Love looking at this place as I drive by. Had never went in, until today. Awesome store. Lots of locally made things from local businesses. Huge wine section.. Great meat and seafood. Felt it was pretty expensive across the board. But it's nice for specialty items. Employees were also very nice. Will return.

I love this store. I use to have to drive north of Seattle to find certain items. These guys have pretty much everything when it comes to odd ingredients, hard to find cheeses, Cannoli shells, etc. But they are expensive. But considering the time and gas I save, it's an acceptable compromise.

I ordered a fresh turkey for Thanksgiving of 15 to 17 pounds. When I arrived, my turkey was ready, but it was less than 14 pounds. I was unhappy with the size available. They were not able to find anything bigger and quiet frankly, they didn't seem to care.

My family has been shopping here since we moved in the area. Great weekly deals on their meat case. They have a flyer that comes out every week that takes effect on Wednesdays. If you need sliced meats, my number 1 item I get here, you cannot find better meat at better prices for ham or turkey. Large fruit and vegetable selections.
