2024: we decided to give our usual place another chance after last year's bad experience. This year was much better! I've been going to this pumpkin patch for years and didn't have an issue until last year. This year the people working were very nice. Purple hair lady was nowhere in sight and they had some nice teenagers working the hay ride area. They also had some vendors which I haven't seen in the past years which was cool. The animals weren't ina petting zoo this year but I feel like it was better just being able to look at them and them not being crowded by kids. Putting my review up to a 4 star 🙂

2023: Usually I love this place and it's my go to Pumpkin Patch. I did get 2 perfect pumpkins today but I'm giving a lower rating because the lady with purple hair, purple shirt, and purple stockings (at least that's what she was in today) was a massive *not friendly word* and definitely ruined the experience. She was so rude when snatching our tickets out of our hands to get on the hay ride, we missed the corn maze stop and asked if we were allowed to go back and do it after getting our pumpkins and a different lady told us yes. The purple lady snapped at us when we tried walking over there even after I had said she had already taken our tickets so yes we did pay the admission. Thankfully we eventually got to the corn maze (best one yet! It was super long)
This is usually my favorite pumpkin patch but I'm not sure I want to return after this year simply because of the experience with her. Which sucks. Everyone else was great.

This local patch was perfect for us, getting there was quick, parking was not a problem, the entry fee included activities and 1pumpkin per paid entry! Children under a certain age are free! The petting zoo was the only thing we didn’t get to but we went on the hottest Sunday ever (86 !) cold drinks for sale and a couple more food vendors with designated seating for those eating. $10 during the week $12 on the weekend! Support local !!

This Is My Family’s Second Year Here & it’s $10 ( Mon - Thursday ) & $12 ( Saturday & Sunday ) For Everything ( HayRide, 1 pumpkin per person, etc ) . It Was Worth It. The food & Snacks Were So Yummy ! The Corn Maze this Year Was A Lot Bigger Than Last Year; Took Us Awhile To Get Out lol. The Whole Farm Was Just Beautiful 🫶🏼 We Love It Here ! 🤍

So we went there for a reserved party and that was fine except the party room was next to the so called petting zoo, so there were flies and bees all over everything. But when we went to go get our pumpkins, it was very difficult to find one that wasn't rotten. And when we finally found two for our kids that seemed good enough to carve (2 days later) we bring them inside and one is completely infested with bugs and the other is halfway rotten inside and you can't do anything with it except throw it away. Like I get it, it a biodegradable property but really? I've never had a pumpkin go that bad. We really should've taken the rotten pumpkins on the grounds as a clear hint to not being any home. But outside of that the events were very unorganized, the employees were almost nowhere to be found and God forbid if you have little ones that need to wash their hands because there isn't even a water basin anywhere despite being on a farm. This place is a joke and a pure waste of time and money. I would never choose to go here again. Probably not even for another birthday party. Avoid at all costs, and trust me it will cost a lot!

They advertise games, petting zoo, hayride and a free pumpkin. The games were life size connect 4, corn hole with empty sand bags, an apple cannon and a gourd race not tall enough for kids to reach, so they were all really games for adults. The “petting zoo” was a gated off pen that you had about 5 feet facing the crowd, with 2 feet where there isn’t a trough, where you might be able to pet the animals if they come up to the fence close enough. Not at all a kid friendly petting zoo. 99% of the pumpkins were moldy or rotten. The hay ride set up is awful, they have 2 pickup/ drop off spots, but the tractor passed the second stop about 7 times, 3 of which while my party was standing there, but the other parties had been waiting for several rounds prior. Children were getting extremely upset because we are waiting for this hayride only for it to ignore us again and again and again. It would be more worth your time and money, albeit it is a cheap price, to go to the store and pick up a pumpkin from there. I would not recommend at all if you want a nice trip to the pumpkin patch with your family, especially not if you have young kids.

Just wanted to rave about the Vancouver Pumpkin Patch in Orchards. 2 and under are free. Tuesday-friday admission is only $10, and other days it's 12. Admission includes a pumpkin (or other produce) per person who paid, hay ride, games, corn maze, small petting zoo, and wheel barrels. They also have some food trucks and small farmers market. We ended up paying less than $40 total, including admission for my small family of 3, 2 meals, 2 drinks, and 3 pumpkins. Everyone had a really wonderful time. Staff was very friendly and my two year old loved every minute.

Love this patch! We go every year. The pumpkins are always amazing, there is a corn maze, harvest market, face painting, refreshments such as fresh caramel/kettle corn, spiced cider, hot cocoa, coffee, etc. and you can't miss a chance to shoot the apple cannon!
