It has been over two years since I initially engaged West Coast Custom Metal Design, and unfortunately, the project remains incomplete. Despite multiple assurances and promises that deadlines would be met, the company consistently failed to follow through. Communication was poor, and commitments were not honored, which was frustrating throughout the process.

In addition to the delays and lack of follow-up, the craftsmanship that was eventually provided was subpar and didn’t meet the standard I expected. The quality of the work simply did not reflect the promises made.

I cannot recommend West Coast Custom Metal Design based on my experience. If you're looking for reliability and quality, I would suggest considering other options.

I would strongly advise that you check with other local metal fabrication companies before asking Mr. O'Neil Martin to take on your project. If you proceed with him, make certain that you have an attorney review the contract you will ask to be signed, including the very small fine print.

My condolences O’Neil. I did not realize the extent to which your ability to produce the correct specs depended on Chris and I not dating. Had I known our romantic relationship would cause such a stir in your measurements, you would’ve never been hired.

The claim is public at this point, I have nothing to hide. Anyone who chooses to dig into this will find that you provided specs to the judge which were in line with what Chris sent you and the judge agreed the product was not measured according to specs. She chose to strike my suit down because she felt I did not have sufficient evidence to show that my new contractor could not fix/finish the product you began. These statements are all written down and can be pulled from public record.

Additionally, because you bring the term deceit up. I would like to state that I have texts showing that you, a married man, was requesting of Chris more information on a specific female that Chris had referred to you. You were wondering if she was looking for a sugar daddy. Let me know if you’d like me to provide more information on this, happy to as always.

Buyer beware. Make sure you write up a contract with this company if you decide to move forward after reading this. O’Neil did not deliver on time, and of what he delivered it was less than 50% of the product agreed on with incorrect measurements making it unusable. When confronted, he claimed I took the product elsewhere and shortened it myself, which is quite literally the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of. He is not one who would hold himself accountable for his mistakes.

I took him to court but lost due to insufficient evidence proving his mistakes couldn’t be fixed by another contractor. Learn from my mistake! Either don’t hire him, or do and draft up an iron clad contract in case you end up in a similar situation.

Working with O'neil Martin from WCC Metal Inc to design and make our custom steel hearth pad was simply wonderful! We reached out to several hearth pad manufacturers to make a sleek and modern steel hearth pad for our woodstove and we were quoted outrageous prices! O'neil was professional and knowledgeable on the phone, asking about weight specs, what color powder coat we wanted, dimensions etc... The price was right and the whole process was a breeze. He kept us updated during manufacturing and coordinated with us for delivery. The product is exactly what we wanted and I just can't thank him enough. These guys are professionals. Period. So happy that we went with them!

O’Neil made us a ladder frame for our biz truck. He has also done several other projects For us including porch railings. Excellence all around. He’s done projects for us for years. Trustworthy and great quality. Thanks for your great work!
