Hate to leave a negative review, but the past 2 or 3 pallets have been very disappointing. I order deliveries of typically 200-250 pieces of 2x4x8 tight knot cedar. I expect about 20% waste/scrap pieces. The last 3 deliveries have been closer to 40%-50%. This order has been the worst. All 200 pieces are and 1/8 to 1/4" under 8', every piece is bowed horribly, the ends are chewed up requiring 2 or so inches cut off each end, a few completely rotted pieces, a large amount of very bad splitted pieces. Not to mention, this delivery was over $13 a piece compared to $10 a few months ago. I didn't realize all of these boards were under 8' until I stained 50 for a project that requires 8' plates. Now I'm needing to order additional lumber from other sources to finish a 50 board project because the 200 I ordered from here are far subParr. Oh, if I bring these back because I can't use them I have to pay a restocking fee so I'm stuck with 200 useless pieces of lumber and almost $3,000 of wasted budget for my small business. Thanks Parr.

Edited to again to add that I've now noticed a good amount of these 2x4s are 3 and 3/8ths not 3 1/2. Thought something was going on with my framing. It's been a month now and I've done my best to dig through the pallet and use this horrible lumber for small pieces. I now have a little over 50 left which I wouldn't frame a dog house with. New pallet of 250 came in from some other guys who share the name of the red tools. This pallet from the other guys is much much better and was $3 cheaper than Parr was per board.

I’ve been client of this store for a while now, my visits aren’t frequent but whenever I need material I always find myself in this store. This morning the person at the front desk was extremely rude, I’ll say more like a professional dushh. I was in a bit of a hurry so I just zipped my mouth , got what I needed and went my way. Don’t know if I’ll ever be back but the store should really pay close attention at what kind of people they have working there. The middle age man was rude, talking to me like if I was some punk with a bossy attitude, like if he owned the place. There was a negative vibe on the air and the other employees noticed it, I’m sure they know about him doing this other customers and I could see them just looking away uncomfortably.

The best prices, they have everything that you need in one place for construction material. Delivery was perfect. Personnel could not be any more helpful.

Their communication is horrible. They were supposed to deliver today. No one showed up. I called them probably 15 times, and just kept getting transferred to different people’s voicemails. No one answered or returned my call. Finally someone answered, and they aren’t even coming today! They moved it to a different day without even telling me. I have been waiting around all day for the delivery.

The quality of the wood isn’t great either. It looks like it was nice at one point, but they dented it all up with the fork lift and put staples all over the top of the deck boards. Is it really necessary to put 10-15 staples in each board? A lot of the boards were moldy too. They are cheap, but it seems like they don’t care about quality or communication.

Placed an order early this month. took a few days to get a response as our POC was out sick. No big deal. It's now been a few weeks and I have gotten nothing but crickets. Honestly curious if some one should do a wellness check over there. Not impressed in the lease with the "service" I've seen. I wouldn't recommend them in a commercial use. Now ISO of recommendations if anyone has ideas

Came in today for some planks to build my garden and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. They provided good suggestions for my project and were helpful in finding the best way to cut the planks down. Prices were fair and the fact they will cut down what you need to whatever size is fantastic. Will definitely come here again for further projects. Thank you!

Parr has what the local big box DIY stores do not. Professionals. Helpful. Thank you.
