Seriously, Jake and team are so incredibly helpful. We were picking up paint for inside and discussing with him a challenge we were having with quality of exterior work with our roofing company who we were going to repair and then repaint the house. They were lagging on timeline as we etched into Fall and I felt we were not going to be able to complete the work as expected before rainy season.

Jake provided a list of alternative painting companies that they've worked with and could vouch for quality of work with reasonable pricing. I thought it was a bit of a Hail Mary given we were already in September but I connected with Bella Vista and got a much better and fast quote within less than a week of calling. But that didn't solve it as we needed contractors to do the repairs before painting but Bella Vista was able to recommend a contractor who had some availability to work in our urgent hopeful timeline and budget.

Long story short-ish, not only did it all work out, we now have a contractor and paint company we can trust and are happy with the quality output. This all happened so quickly and was only possible thanks to Jake and his support providing quality recommendations. If we didn't have so much trust in Jake, we wouldn't have even tried an alternative route like this.

Jake and team seriously work wonders and make magic happen. He spent hours advising and helping to select the right paint and look for the exterior of our home and got us connected with the right people to deliver on the vision. We have so much fun going to the store and talking through our wild ideas. They really are creative allies and as I selfishly want them to remain available at all times when I walk in to "talk shop", I've gotta plug that everyone should know they can and do provide this help. It's so worth it. I recommend spending time and building connection because they make all the things possible.

You have a lot of choices when it comes to paint and paint stores. My recent research led me to choose Benjamin Moore paint as the solution for our new house paint. Some friends recommended Mallory and we checked it out. Scott is excellent to work with, providing guidance around the best paint for different situations. We went with Ultra Spec EXT and love the results. People stop while walking by asking about the color and paint. Scott (owner) and Micah have been absolutely phenomenal! There is a reason why you go to a paint store with years of expertise under its belt instead of a big box store with no guidance. I spent an hour looking between whites and when I called to discuss my "warm white dilemma" with the owner, he came up with a creative solution by making my favorite color half as strong. Customer for life! I highly recommend them.
