Last Friday 9/13/19 I went to their shop to request two metal 2x4x4 posts fabricated for my dump trailer. Joe, who seemed like he wanted to help said they could make the studs by Monday or Tuesday the following week. Today, I called in the morning to get a status on the order and let Joe know that today was my last day in town as I would be wrapping up my project. This gave them two additional days to deliver on their promise. He said he would have the shop get on it and call me in a couple hours.

One o’clock rolls around and I decided to call since I would be leaving the area soon. Joe said he would check the status and call me back in 5 minutes.

10 minutes goes by and I call back. The receptionist told me that she was given a note by Joe to let me know they weren’t able to do the project. Apparently, Joe went to deliver something...

Over the one week period, no one thought to reach out to me and say, “Hey, we won’t be able to do this for you” or ask if I was willing to have it shipped to me etc etc.

To add insult to injury, the receptionist hung up on me after telling me that they have clients with bigger orders. And if you read between those lines, she mine as well said, “You are unimportant and insignificant to our business.”

So if you have a small need, be prepared to get treated as if you don’t matter. Hopefully the Owner sees this and tries to make it right. Cause this is the mentality that erodes business.
