My name is Chris Wallace and I just wanted to say that on Tuesday Nov.12 2024 that I had a very pleasant forklift training experience with Michael Trail. He came to Baker Hughes in Blacksburg VA to train and certify myself and my co-worker.
Michael was very professional, knowledgeable, thorough, nice, had a great personality and just all around a really great guy. He took time to explain things and to listen and answer our questions. He was prepared and did an excellent job on his presentation and training.
My co-worker and I both passed our written test and our inspection and driving of a forklift.
I would definitely recommend Michael Trail and the CFE Equipment Corporation to anyone or business needing forklift sales, service or safety training.
It was a pleasure meeting you Michael.

Don't come here to work or get your equipment repaired. These mechanics don't have the proper equipment for 75% of what they work on and they hire people with no experience on forklifts. The mechanics they did have who were good left the company due to not getting the proper compensation for their labor and knowledge. Seems like there is only 2 decent mechanics who work there. They are also charging outrageous hourly rate for someone who does not know what they are doing which costs me the customer two to three times as much. Beware!!!

Communications? ZERO. I asked for a date to schedule a PM on our lift truck and they would/could not provide one. After the service I asked for a receipt for my CC transactions, 3 times, no reply. No e-mail, no phone call, nothing. With these cautious times, pandemic, our business is all but locked down. I can't have repairmen show up out of the blue to work on equipment - they need appointments. That coupled with a micro-managing supervisor, mine, demanding answers and dates CFE is a nightmare. Good Luck if you hire them.

I have been doing business with CFE for over 30 years. My relationship with Eddie Moricle has and continues to be beneficial to our company. Bobby in the service department is always "right on time" with any service issues that might occur. Everyone from their service techs to their office staff has always been very professional. They handle lifts at our 4 locations in Coastal Virginia and our 5th location in Richmond. Having one company to fulfill our needs is very important.
CFE is my MVP when it comes to material handling and it is my recommendation that they be your MVP as well.

CFE is very responsive to our forklift needs. They provide excellent service on repairs and rentals when needed. They are our ISO Approved vendor for maintenance and repairs.
