Sammies meat market is the fricken best. They have a specific thing/cut, which I won't name for fear that someone will read about it and go buy it all, but it's the best cut of ______ I have found. It's AMAZEBALLS. The staff, well, the gal at the register is always very kind and pleasant (I've never talked with the dudes in the back, cuz they are too busy Dextering up some flesh). In fact, I don't think I've ever seen her with anything but a smile on her face. The prices are awesome too. They sell plenty of rando stuff, if you're into the freakydeaky type of meat cuts. Although its not a weird kind of meat, their rabbits are really good, too. They aren't all emaciated and meatless like the frozen ones you get at Yokes. I mean seriously, where does Yokes get their rabbits? The poor things are either starved to death or anorexic because the only stuff you'll get off the bone is ligaments and desperation. Not at Sammies. Those bastards probably died of heart attacks from all the food and living a sedentary life. I don't want to call them "fat" rabbits, because that's body shaming, but we could say they are "healthy" or "big boned" (kinda like how my wife describes me....ouch) Anyways, Sammies Meat Market. Its legit, cheap prices, great meat. If you like Irish stew, grab a couple of their conies (rabbits) and throw those beefytits in the pot. You love it. Sammy has over 30 yrs experience in the Wholesale Meat selling business and over 30 yrs as a meatcutter, he knows his trade very well.
Sammy knows his customers and what they like and if he doesn't have it, he will get it. When I come home to visit from ATX I know where to go for goof meat cuts.

I went in to get 20lbs of ribs to get cut. After grilling some if it i noticed alot of bone chips on meat which is not normal. I called them up and their response was that it was the meat. Come on are you serious thats all they got to say? I bought this meat from tyson foods and your come to me with that when i know for a fact that the problem was that they did not change their saw blade while cutting the ribs. I hope other people who see this take their business somewere else who knows if they actually clean their equipment or who knows what else. Bad service period

Customer service is amazing!! It feels like a small town butcher when you walk in. Customers and staff are so friendly and helpful. Meat is great too.
