All food was lightly seasoned.

The breaded mushrooms were cooked well. Only complaint is every once in awhile you will get one with an excessive amount of warm to hot water which kills the tasted IMHO.

French fries were delicious but they were really greasy.

The Alaskan COD tasted good to me. I don't normally eat fish so please take his part as a grain of salt. Only complaint was it was super greasy. I was using napkins to get soak up some of the grease.

Burger was cooked well and tasted decent. The beef had a odd odor to it. It wasnt a strong odor to me but I could smell it when i put my nose near the beef. Wife only took two bites and couldn't do the smell(her noise is more sensitive than mine).

Short and sweet, sat at high top, waited almost an hour for three dishes (chili, Reuben and Pastrami sandwich). While the bartender was nice, she couldn’t multitask the bar and high tops. I had to remind her about two beers that I ordered that she completely forgot about (while she took orders at bar and filled immediately)….again, wasn’t busy. Unsure if zero registers for service so I gave a one…food was great, but service and timeliness was a killer…Vicki needs to work on her communications/updating skills because they were non-existent, unless you asked. Would I go back? Man, I don’t know…the food was very good, but was it worth the wait/hassle?

Our server was nice about everything and we do understand that servers are the middleman in the situation. The soup was luke warm. The rest of the food was mediocre and we did let her know about the temperature of the soup. In the end we were still charged full price for cold soup. I am not to happy about it. We will not be coming here again. That is sad because there are not many restaurants in Vail.

I ordered French onion soup, special tonight. It came like warm! I told the server and she apologized, not her fault. It was still on my bill full price. Also k we heard another guest at another table say her soup wasn’t hot. I don’t think I will be back.

we went for lunch around noon, there were barely any people dining for lunch; a majority of the people were at the bar. we ordered our food and then waited about 45 minutes, despite the substantial absence of guests. when my (medium well) burger arrived it was somewhere between rare and medium rare. my dad’s medium rare burger was also very pink, slightly darker than mine. our other two guests enjoyed their food. (not burgers)

I used to be a huge fan of Montgomery’s but the last few times I’ve been the service has been terrible. I have been sitting with food and no silverware for over 10 min. The server who is also the manager has walked by several times and not even given us a second look. I would understand if they were busy but there are only 5 tables in the restaurant that are seated at the moment

Ordered fried mushrooms and zucchini and some drinks. Didn't really taste that great but it's bar food, so wasn't really expecting much. Service was amazing as the server made several stops by our table to check in us. Not too often, just the right pace. Had live music, which I wasn't expecting, so it made it difficult to hear each other. Just need to plan for it.
