My wife and I recently became new members at American Lutheran Church. We had relocated to the area a few years back, and decided it was time to find a new church. From the moment we walked into the building, we felt like it was a perfect fit. The members of the congregation went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
Pastor Scott is very personable, passionate, and always delivers a sermon that everyone can relate to. He also seems to remember everyone 's name, something I have no idea how he does it.

This church preaches and teaches sound Biblical truths. All three pastors have unique and appreciated talents and strengths. The music ministry is strong and ties in with the Word of the day plus the sermon. There is a huge focus on getting involved without hard sell but with the love of Christ as our example.

We have been members at ALC for over six years and we love it here. This is our second family and the people are marvelous. The pastors: Scott, Julia and Lisa are very kind and personable. We have a great choir, music director and organist. When we moved here over six years ago from California, we were looking for a new church home and after one visit, we were hooked! Come check out our church, you may get hooked on it too. All I can say is hallelujah!

We joined ALC a year ago and have found our spiritual home! We love the Pastors, the sermons, Wednesday Night Alive, lectures, concerts, dinner, during the winter. There is something for everyone …….. We always feel God’s love for us when we worship at ALC.

Today at service I leaned over and whispered to my friend: “I love this church“, a comment I have never expressed before in my life. All of the Pastors are exceptionable, all have huge hearts. There has never been a message, (spoken or inferred) of “us“ versus “them“. Grace and inclusiveness seem to effortless arises at ALC Sun City. (And Communion is every service!)

I've been coming to ALC since I moved to SC in September of 1990. I immediately had the feeling of being welcomed and at home. We have a great choir and bell choir, both of which I belonged to for years.
