The team at BCI is amazing. The first machine I bought didn't meet up to the needs of my 14U team. I met with Steve at their facility, which is state of the art. We agreed my team needs a bit more oomph out of a machine and Steve showed me the various machines. Hands on customer service, I cannot say enough good things about Steve, the crew, and BCI. A Top Notch company for sure, if you need anything baseball training related, look no further, BCI is the best!

Our daughter loves her new batting cage. It took a few days to get it put up but seems worth it. Everything was packaged nicely and received with tailgate service. The instructions were vague in areas. Recommend reading-re-reading and watching the install videos. It would have been nice to have a little more guidance on digging/pouring the concrete ground sleeves. We called customer service and were told an installer would call us but he never did! We are handy and figured it all out ourselves. Measure-Measure-and re-Measure 😉 We also were not provided with the cords to hang the vinyl back drop. Hopefully we will get several years of use out of the cage!! Thank you Batting Cages Inc.

Steven at BCI was a great resource to our business getting set up. He worked with our loan officer directly, had great communication, and designed a perfect setup for our business. The products we purchased were Bata2 pitching machines, custom netting, L screens, pitch machine protectors, batting mats, and collegiate mound. Everything has been nothing but quality. We had shipping issues by no fault of BCI, but Steven took care of us and got it delivered with nothing damaged or missing. Could not be happier with our decision to go with BCI. Thanks to the staff!

This company is fantastic! If you're in need of any baseball product, this company is your one stop shop. They're customer service is always friendly and helpful, and the products I've received are always excellent quality. I just recently ordered one of their Mound Yeti pitching machines and it looks and works great.

Worse Experience and Customer Support

I am hesitant to write this review for many reasons. One is that I usually dismiss negative reviews when making purchases as anomalies or unreasonable customers writing them, however I felt it best I share my objective personal experience below more so for the owner than potential customers.

On December 2, 2019 I ordered the 55ft Freestanding Trapezoid Premium Batting Cage. The site indicated when I ordered it that it usually ships within 5 days. I received an email confirming the order had been placed the same day. Also, I was immediately charged on my credit card so I figured they must be putting the order together right away. After a week had gone by without any further communication from BCI, I decided that I should probably email to see if there is an update. On 12/9/19, I attempted to email BCI to get an update but received an autogenerated reply that the email address only receives email from people in its organization or on its allowed senders list and that my name isn’t on the list. (Why supply an email address or communicate from an email address you can’t respond to?) I then initiated an online chat with a customer service representative. On 12/11/19 (9 days after my order was placed) I receive an email from Customer Service that “what they are being told is that many of the trapezoids sold over the sale and they are currently backordered” and that “my order is currently in the middle of the stack”. I was then told that at this point they could not guarantee Christmas delivery as I mentioned this was for my son. I received an apology and ‘options’ that included waiting or receiving everything but the poles and that I could purchase those myself at my local hardware store. I responded the same day and elected to wait but could I receive an ETA when I could expect to receive it? On 12/14/19 I reach back out as not hearing back since I emailed on 12/11/19. On 12/16/19 I receive an email stating ‘it could potentially be a few weeks and would not expect them to come in till January’. Now this is where it gets really comical... On 12/28/19 I receive an email (later to be identified as an auto generated email) from CEO Brian wanting to follow up with me to ensure I received the items I ordered and that he hoped I was happy with the items. I thought this would be a good time to share with him my experience so far as I assume as the owner of a large business he is unaware of what is going on with my order. I reply to his email and get the same response as above (an autogenerated reply that the email address only receives email from people in its organization or on its allowed senders list and that my name isn’t on the list). On 12/29/19 I email the customer service rep I had been in contact during this time to share the email the day before along with to get an update as it has been 14 days since last communication. On 12/30/19 I receive an email back stating that those are autogenerated based on time and should have been turned off since my item was backordered. Two more weeks go by with zero communication so I figured well maybe I should reach out again if I want an update on an ordered placed on 12/2/19, so I emailed on 1/14/20 for an update. on 1/20/20, I finally receive a response back stating not sure if anyone else got back to you (nobody did) but it is looking like it should be shipping by the end of the month (Jan 2020) Thought the comedy ended… nope. At this point after being charged on my credit card over a month ago without the item I purchased being shipped and experiencing the worse customer service and purchase experience in my entire life, I felt it best to cancel the order and ask for a refund. Within ONE hour of emailing the request for a refund I received an email and a text message that my order had been refunded. I am not sure if this will even make it on the review site after some others have made comments about negative reviews being deleted and I am sure there will be a ‘flurry’ of positive reviews.

I completely agree with the comments below from John Mullins. Single worst experience ever with the owner Brian Davis. When they say they are sending out your order today that means 3 months from today and when it gets delivered it has the wrong parts/pieces and yet they charge you in full. Brian Davis then calls and says he has turned you over to collections and follows that up with "did the softballs work. did the baseballs work". I will never do business with them again and I would warn anyone to stay way from Brian Davis.

As long as you don't need your order in a timely manner, they are probably a good company. But if you need what you ordered anytime soon, forget about it with this company. There are ZERO updates, unless you email them. Then, when you do email them, they tell you we will get the info and never get back to you. There was absolutely NOTHING in regards to a backorder, etc when I ordered this product, not a single thing was said.

Ordered placed on Feb 11.

Was told on Feb 25, would ship in two weeks and they would provide tracking number on Monday.....nope, nothing was provided.

March 11…silence....should have shipped though.

March 14th it’s getting coated and would be shipping the following week (March 25). Wait, it was supposed to ship last week they said.

No communication on the 25th, but it's supposed to be shipping that week.

Now today March 30th it’s getting ready to ship tomorrow or Friday.

After telling them if it's not here by April 6th, I will do a chargeback suddenly they say sorry, it won't be here by the 6th. So the truck can't deliver from GA to Cincinnati in 7 days, which means again they had no plans to ship the product anyways.

Do yourself a favor, order from a different site that will communicate and not drag you along.
