Malachi made all our adventure mountain photo dreams come true!! We didn't know much of what we wanted and contacted him on comparatively short schedule- he made everything work and even picked us up from our camp site. He was a trooper as we struggled through a hike, that despite his good warning and information, was out of our skill & altitude range. He made sure we got beautiful photos and was kind the whole time. Would 100% recommend.

Going through the process of an elopement can be a little nerve racking just because you don’t actually see where you are getting married until that day. My husband and I couldn’t be more thankful for Malachi for making all of our worries vanish! Malachi did tons of research for our special day. Not only was the day completely planned out but we had the most breath taking photos taken. Malachi was part of our family for the day and we couldn’t have asked for someone better. 100% would recommend Malachi to anyone!

We're so happy we found Malachi to photograph and help plan our elopement! We knew we wanted a secluded, nature-immersed day to share our vows but didn't know where to start. Malachi was able to suggest locations we have never been to and would not have found on our own that were perfect for our day.
I am an over-planner and the fact that Malachi does all the potential hikes himself first, scouts out exact spots for awesome shots, and knows exactly where the sun will be at all points in the day guarantees you won't miss out on the views or pics you want.
We traveled up to Washington in the Mt Baker area for our elopement and on our planned day, the weather was horrible with zero visibility so you could not see any of the views we traveled for. Malachi was so communicative and flexible and delayed our event for 2 days until the skies cleared up and we could see the mountains for miles.
We are obsessed with our pictures and are struggling to pick just a few to have printed because they all deserve to be framed. We are honored to be featured as the home page cover photo on his website currently.
Malachi is a chill, laidback guy who will tell you facts about the native plants you are hiking through and point out the berries you can snack on along the way. If you want a rowdy hype man, you probably won't get that, but if you want a calm presence who makes you feel like everything will be fine when there is zero visibility on your planned wedding day, then he is your guy!

Malachi was amazing since the very beginning, he provided us with different options for locations that truly met our expectations (we wanted mountains, a lake and a forest with a relatively easy hike) so if you see our photos you’ll notice the sites were all that and more! The day of our elopement he got to our airbnb at the exact minute he said he would, he was very easy to work with, incredibly patient, didn’t push us to do anything we were uncomfortable with and let us enjoy our day without pressure. Just a few hours after the photoshoot he sent a sneak peak with 9 pictures (one better than the other) our whole family and friends were going insane with the images! And then, barely 9 days after the photos were taken, we received the full gallery! It’s unbelievable how quick that was! We are really happy with Malachi’s work and would 100% recommend him to everyone and anyone. If you are having doubts, think no more! Just look at these pictures and rest assured that you found the one

We cannot recommend Malachi's services enough! We wanted to elope somewhere we had never been before and Malachi was able to take our "wish list" and select the perfect location. The whole day was chill from start to finish, which is exactly what we wanted for our elopement. Malachi made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, which is important for us, since we are somewhat awkward photography subjects and have never hired a photographer before. The photos he delivered us were BEAUTIFUL and we have received so many compliments from family and friends. If you have any hesitation about eloping let this be your sign to do it! We 100% recommend Malachi if you are looking for a stress-free and highly personalized experience in the outdoors.

We contacted Malachi to take photos of us on our summer trip to Crested Butte to celebrate our anniversary and soon coming addition to our family. I wouldn't have had it any other way and neither should you! I even ended up cutting my hand open and Malachi was prepared with some gauze and wrap which allowed us to finish our shoot before heading down the mountain for some stitches. Malachi took us to a place that really wasn't on the map and it was perfect! Thank you so much for capturing some of our awesome memories and providing an experience beyond what most would!
