Our team's experience with Olympic Studios Seattle was a seriously incredible one. I'm still in awe of how seamless and enjoyable the rental process was from beginning to end.

As a crew of out-of-towners, we were a bit out of our element in terms of where to look for equipment rentals. After grabbing quotes from other rental houses, we decided on Olympic Studios because of how helpful Derek was with answering all of our questions.

This decision was the best one we could've made, because Derek ended up playing a huge role in the success of our film. Not only were we working with a super modest budget, but we had last minute insurance issues that required more back-and-forth than we anticipated.

Throughout the entire process, Derek went above and beyond to help us stay in budget. He had great alternative solutions for less expensive equipment, suggestions on where to cut costs, options for sub-renting a few lenses he didn't have on-hand, and on-top of that, he even got us connected with an insurance agent that helped us realize the company we had been using was a total nightmare.

In terms of the actual rental process, Derek was there to go through all of the equipment with our DP and Gaffer and answer any questions we had. After everything was checked and the papers were signed, we all chatted for a bit and we were super impressed by Derek's knowledge and big fans of his sense of humor. We also got to look around the studio a bit which was sick!

On set, everything worked great and equipment was never a concern. We had everything we needed, plus a great grip van to transport.

Drop off was a breeze and Derek's flexibility was a dream considering the fact that we had to turn in equipment later in the day than we had hoped.

I would work with Olympic all the time if I could. It's so nice to work with a company that is invested in helping projects come to life. You can tell Derek is passionate about what he does and it showed throughout every part of the process.

Team WHOH gives mad props and big thanks to Olympic Studios Seattle. 10/10. Don't go anywhere else - It's Olympic or bust.

Every time our livestream concert series (Sessions In Place) has had the pleasure of being at Olympic Studios, it corroborates the fact that Derek Klein is one of the most hospitable humans in production out there. The studio has so many great offerings too. The cyc wall with black wrap around curtains, a kitchen, green room, and even an upstairs with a small studio and the ability to peer down to the cyc wall. All of that makes it an amazing space but the cherry on top is definitely Derek. Thanks so much for having an incredible location with state-of-the-art equipment!
