I went to the Covington Office for a hip injection today. I felt very comfortable with the staff as I checked in and was taken to my room. The nurse/assistant asked helpful questions and explained how things would work.

The doctor spent the time needed to properly diagnose where the pain was coming from and then made sure I agreed with his plan. It was very helpful as he walked me through each step so I would know ahead of time what he was going to do.

As I left, he explained my next steps for exercises and follow up if the injection didn't bring the relief I was hoping for.

I've seen Dr. Jason Thompson for a long time dealing with back issues. After my last surgery back in 2013, I have been doing pretty good, until December of 2023. Started having back pain and other issues that were different than what I had surgery for originally. I was diagnosed with scoliosis. Had no idea you could develop it older in life. Dr. Thompson is just so laid back and easy going, doesn't matter what's going on or how bad it could possibly be, he makes it seem like everything is going to be a breeze, nothing to worry about. He explains everything and not only talks to me but he also included my partner in the discussion, so he can hear first hand what the doctor thinks. Thank you Dr. Thompson.

The front desk girls could be more friendly. Dr. John West Tacoma Endodonist has the 5 star plus rating in friendly and caring staff. The best I have ever seen! The girls are cold fish and tend to make me feel incompetent. When I questioned them about completing information on line and when checking in why I had to do it again. The whole purpose of filling it out your online correspondence is to save time when coming in. I was given a lecture.

As far as the Dr and Nurse they were kind and caring.

Very pleasant Doctor, He was very knowledgeable, explained everything in great detail. I was a little hesitant and nervous once he spoke about the procedure, I was okay. The nures kept me calm,they were wonderful.
