They are fine, not great, not terrible, just fine. Not much attention to detail on cutting or wrapping. Many large pieces of beef have gouges in them, cuts are very inconsistent. The quality used to be better so I'm not sure if they are just too busy these days, but it's disappointing. Unfortunately, there's no competition to keep the quality up around here.

Great place, real people, and very friendly! My children even got to see the meat cutting action and cold storage. I recommend them 100%.

We just got a whole beef from Flying R Ranch WA. Both Ryan and Mike at Alvord's Custom Meats stayed in excellent communication with us from deposit to pick up.

We had ours aged 26 days. So far, even the cube steak is better than most store bought steaks, and the t-bone melts in your mouth 🤤

Also, Mike was AWESOME. He worked with us on the Washington sales tax as we are Oregon residents, and sent us home with complimentary pepperoni sticks. If that wasn't enough, he also met us at the shop after hours since we were coming from out of town.

Couldn't be happier! Excellent product and even better service all around!

We were just not happy with the overall meat cutting at Alvords. There were some weird steak cuts with a lot of fat left on; a lot of fat on the roasts; some of the pot roast cuts were really fatty and cut sloppy. The hamburger was good and they did do extra lean as requested but they no longer double wrap it so it is really messy to thaw. They aren’t as good as Cullens was, that is for sure!
