I needed to renew my ID and was told to make an appt online but the website doesn't work for booking. I showed up on site and was denied a walk in even though there was one single person there in the waiting area. When I lost my card last year, I was allowed a walk in visit and given a new card all within 5 minutes. Stupid.

I'd probably give another half star if possible (think they could use a few more personnel). The place is set up for customer social distancing, plenty of chairs and even a decent sized TV streaming various movies so you're not bored to death trying to find something on your phone. If you can set up an appointment on line, you'll probably have a better chance of getting help sooner. The sign in kiosk is helpful, as is the worldly (yes, he's elderly but glad to help you) fellow if you need help. The individuals handling your appointment are knowledgeable and answer your questions in a KISS (if you don't know, ask) manner.

Need to have a directory of where things are in the lobby and the elevator for customers and guests.

Need to take customers to be served according to appointment times rather than arrival time. A customer with a 1210 appointment was seen before the customer with the 1040 appointment and it was only 1010 in the morning.

Went in and took a number. I sat there 3 hours and only 2 numbers were called. I gave my number to the lady next to me since mine was lower than hers. Then I went to one of the other nearby installations. I was served almost as soon as I walked in... But, I think I had lucky timing there. Whatever the case, the wait at mcchord was beyond ridiculous.

I wanted to re-pot the split leaf philodendron, when i saw it from the outside window. I wanted to find it, and it was cool that it was actually in the I.D. center. The id center was easy and smooth, verry relaxed as wrll ad organized.
