Very friendly staff wanting to be so helpful. Huge selection, lots to look at and make your mind up on to purchase. Highly recommend. As a former customer meat shop/butcher shop wrapper this place was well put together, very friendly, great customer service, fantastic selection of local items too.

We stop here every time we drive from Seattle to Montana. It is so good! Amazing selection, and can you really go wrong with a place that has a vending machine full of jerky outside so you can still get your fix if they are closed?

I recently visited Owens Meats after a recommendatiom from a colleague due to their price and quality of meats. I paid $24.99 per pound for 1.35 pounds of prime rib stake expecting a premium cut based on the recommendations.

Unfortunately, the steak was disappointing. While I anticipated rich marbling and a tender texture, what I found instead was an excessive amount of fat and far less marbling than expected. For the price, I was hoping for a better balance of flavor and tenderness.

Overall, my experience left me unimpressed. I had high hopes based on the recommendations, but I don’t think I’ll be returning for their prime rib in the future

I'd say the burger quality tasted as though it was prepped that day. The jerky was decent, but lacked a little punch in flavor/seemed bland. For that same reason, that to me made the sausages and pepperoni taste great. They weren't overly spiced like you might find a normal pepperoni stick or even the spicy cheese stuffed sausage. The meat and cheese "trail mix" is always an easy go to. It's packed in here and they were attentive. They even offered up a hot braut on a bun. I like this location better than their other. The rubs and sauces make for nearly an easy one stop shopping spot, but I haven't tried those sauces and can't recommend them. I will always come back here when in town.

Small meat market but big variety. Got some spices, pork, and half a pound of “The Good Stuff “. Easy off/on the interstate. Will definitely stop again!!

My family has loved the beef jerky and other treats and meats from Owen's for longer than I have been alive. We traditionally gift the jerky for Christmas and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Owens is consistent and reliable and delicious, and we will be coming back for years to get our jerky fix. It's always fun to get someone new hooked on their traditional recipe.

I’ve tried Owens smoked pork chops, meat trail mix, beef jerky but my favorite is the regular Ländjangers. I was born in Switzerland and grew up on Ländjagers, I mentioned to the employee that theirs are the only ones that are just as good as I remember. I don’t go east of the mtns that often but when I do I always stop for a bag full.

Walked in with my friends and stood far back, away from the counter with no one else behind us in line on a slow day. Dude at the counter sarcastically says “take as much time as you want” while somehow being clearly annoyed with us trying to browse the options. Icing on the cake is that this place prompts you for a tip.
