With their recent expansion to their remnants area they offer a much wider selection of materials for hobbyists or folks who need a random chunk of material. I am now going to Alcobra exclusively for home project materials because all the metal suppliers in CDA no longer allow small orders. The staff at Alcobra have also been extremely helpful and have answered any/all questions I’ve had. I’d highly recommend checking them out.

Always helpful. Quick turnaround times. Recently expanded retail sales area. So nice to get small orders at reasonable prices. Huge inventory of metals, alloys, shapes. Like going to a grocery store for metals and plastics.

Top notch metal supply! They sell ends and pieces in their office on Freya. You can order in person or over the phone.

If you need metal cut they will do it, more often than not they are able to take my order (20-60ft of material, 2-8 cuts), and cut it to size within 15 minutes.

Everyone Ive interacted with at the desk, and in the shop has been reasonably patient, kind, and knowledgeable.

I think the guys up front are a bit stressed at times, but they seem to struggle through it well.

If you are an individual in need of the services mentioned in this review, I can confidently recommend spending your money here 👍

I went here looking for welding supplies for my son who is learning to weld. The people in the office are very polite, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. As a woman who knows nothing about medals.- I never, at any point, felt that they were anything but encouraging on the information and Education. I worked with Kelly And he was probably the most helpful customer service person I’ve ever Worked with. I asked countless questions and he was a plethora of knowledge.. I highly recommend this business. 20/10 stars !!!

I am in Florida and even being a nation away has not slowed his willingness to help, patience dedication and professionalism. Awesome supplier of all you metal needs for fabrication. Especially for the small guy who is just a hobby welder. Prices are fair and customer service is a strong practice here. I was in and out with exactly what I needed in 10 min or so.

Great source for steel even as a retail customer. The counter guys were friendly and helpful and the selection in the office was good. Very clean as well! The guys that loaded me up were friendly and they had a good energy.
