I had a cracked weld on a fabricated aluminum top for my truck. I called around a lot of different places and almost no one wanted to attempt a repair. The places that thought they might be willing to attempt the repair were either very expensive and/or booked out a long ways schedule-wise. One of the places I called referred me to Carlson's. I stopped by just to see if they were willing to repair it and get an estimate. They got me in same-day and did the work for less than the other quote I'd received. Wayne was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I was hired to remedy a failing concrete ramp and desperately needed a steel plate bent to an exact angle and some holes drilled out so I could secure it to the concrete. I went to several other shops and was told they couldn’t even start on my project for 1-2 weeks. Carlson Sheet Metal treated me great as soon as I walked in the door. Paul, one of their estimators took all the time in the world just for me, got the information he needed and had the plate ready for pick up the very next morning. The ramp was able to be remedied in a very efficient manner which garnered me praise from my customer. But none of this would have been possible without the great staff and excellent service at Carlson Sheet Metal. I was so impressed. They will definitely be my go to guys for all things steel in the future.

My husband ordered metal to make a grain box. Received the call the order was ready to be picked up. On the same day receiving the call my husband and I went to pick up the metal. Upon picking it up, it had 2 inches of snow and ice sitting on it and the metal was now rusty! One- why did they wait to call us and tell us it's ready for pick up Two- it's now sat outside in the elements for who knows how long rusting! More work, money and time that we didn't need to be spending on this project. Very disappointed! If your looking for quality work and a place that takes care of their customers, we suggest taking your business elsewhere!

Had a great experience with the representative I spoke with.
Provided design and was very informed I would receive a call quoting two types of steel.

Almost a week went by and I didn't receive a call. I called them and was informed my order was ready. I asked the price and was blown away. Almost 4 times higher then I expected to pay.
I spoke with the representative and asked why I never received a call with a quote and was presented with what I felt a nervous answer stating they just decided to do it.

Reluctantly I still paid the $200 cost for two very simple pieces of them stainless still bent in at a few angles for me. When examining afterwards, I noticed that they were not even the same length as I needed
They said most of the cost was labor.

The project probably took 30 minutes max, it's very disheartening.

I did learn a good lesson to never accept the product unless they provide you the quote as intended.

We had a Father's Day project that required a cut metal background. The measurements that we sent were the wrong scale and we got an enormous piece of metal that we couldn't use.

David and Jeff helped us fix the problem and expedited the second cut and got it back to us in time to finish the project.

The team at Carlson Sheet Metal are very helpful and courteous. I highly recommend!

Recomended our son to Carlson because they did a great job for us; we told him so he could do some repair work to his trailer. He was quoted a price and it ended up costing more for a simple bend. They should have told him in advance about the price. He said if he would have known he would not have ask for the bend would have riveted like it was. Carlson does good work but needs to be more up-front about prices😪

Brought them a small job that was needed by 6/7/13. Was told that it was unlikely it could be completed by then, but would be completed no later than 6/11/13. Called on 6/11 to check status and was told wouldn't be completed until 6/14 @ 5:00P. (They close at 4:00PM). When questioned why the delay, was told delivery date was never promised. When I arrived to pick up work on 6/14 @ 3:30PM, it was sitting in the front office untouched and was given the excuse that they never said when it would be completed and because I called them on their lie, they didn't do anything. I HIGHLY recommend finding another company for your metal fabrication needs! Poor-Fair rating is the only rating Google permits, but I rate them MUCH lower than that!
