Staff is very friendly and eager to help. I have been to many livestock auctions. This one is smaller, but they moved animals through quickly. My only ding is that the auctioneer has a non-traditional call, mumbles, and is very hard to understand.

Nice sale barn and great little cafe. They play more to the big ranchers and not so much to the smaller guys. Took some steer calves in early on sunday morning, so they would sale early in the sale but they were the last to go through the sale and instead of running them in as a group, they ran them through single. Wasn't very happy and unsure if we will take anything back.

Nice auctionyard. Decent cafe. Amazingly clean for a stockyard.The small animal sale is surprisingly good. The animals are matched fairly well. The Auctioneer seems to actually care about getting the best prices for the hogs, sheep and goats. Some yards act like small animals are a burden to sell and spend no time trying to sell them.
More cattle are sold than anything else. Unfortunately, as is every stockyard on the east side of WA, the bias is towards the ranchers with large herds. Often times it seems like smaller sellers are pushed to the side. The sale in Toppenish is the only exception, but they are in central WA. Don't get me wrong. Stockland runs a very fair sale for animal weights and prices.

Fast paced, usually good variety. Workers move the animals through pretty fast, plenty of seating. Good food and service.
