I used Summit Excavation to asphalt my driveway and I couldn’t be more happier. Jake and his crew did an exceptional job, got it done quickly and left without a mess. I’m very particular about work being done on my property but they put me an ease with their professionalism and speedy service. I highly recommend them! A+

Hired jake short notice for a job which he agreed to do. I sent photos and name of location for job. Crew arrived at wrong location and did work at a location that was not authorized. When it was discovered that work to be done was not done at correct address jake agreed that he would not charge me. To make a long story short, he charged me for it anyway and when questioned he became very aggressive on the phone and then demanded even more money. Maybe he was just having a bad day but reading other reviews, it appears Jake does this alot to his customers. Wish i would've read thru his reviews prior to offering him the job. Unfortunately I would not recommend him for work, his "bullying to pay more" tactic is concerning.

Mid Tier excavation company with some star workers workingfor them. Cameron and his dad was very easy to work with and very versatile in his knowledge of machinery and how to make things efficient and clean. The invoicing didn’t match the time cards but maybe the boss wanted company time for existing. Ask for Cameron or his dad if you go time and material and collect time cards. Can’t go wrong if they have the full scope of work as well. I’ve noticed on other reviews a lot of angry comments but having the full scope of a project will lead to better results rather than having the excavation operators relying on their own thought patterns.
This company has so much equipment to help you. Grade operation is top notch. D5 needs new tracks.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Extortion, threatening, and harassment behavior. Mediocre work that takes 10x the timeline. Horrible and non existent documentation, outrageous overcharges, lies about agreed-upon work and cost, literally makes up additional charges and tries to send additional invoices after you've paid. Something is seriously wrong with this guy.

Although the bid was the lowest, when complications arose and it was agreed that any overruns on work would be billed based on time and materials, the owner failed to provide appropriate documentation on outrageous additional costs.
