The employees of the institute were totally amazing! Very welcoming and friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean and well groomed. It was mother nature who was flexing her muscles with strong high winds and rain which made out visit a little on the challenging side!!

One of my favorite places!!! You can go there to walk. Volunteer, buy some honey made on the island. It's so beautiful to watch the landscape change with the season.

The efforts of Robert his crew and dedicated volunteers to restore the prairie have preserved the Indian paint brush and many other native species. The forest I love will be there for my great grandchildren to explore because of Pacific Rim's efforts and I am most grateful.
