I hired Alex to design and build a custom table for a trade show booth, needing a design that could support a 300 lb piece of equipment and be easily dismantled for shipping. Alex is so good at furniture. I hired him to create a wrap around bench with built in bookshelves for my sunroom. The project came out perfect. His design eye is spot on and he pays attention to the smallest detail. The cherry top lines up perfectly with my old craftsman house and he suggested rounded corners to match the arched alcove it sits in. The solid wood and soft-close hinges he used give that feeling of quality that lingers. He's also fun to work with and genuinely excited about the creation process. I appreciated the digital render he gave me so I could see it before we built. Will 100% hire Alex for my next project.

Working with Alex was so collaborative and easy - he's incredibly talented and the quality of his designs and woodworking is top notch. Alex was such an amazing find! I wanted a really special set of tables for my pottery studio to act as a centerpiece. I would highly recommend Focal Fab to anyone. The process was collaborative and transparent which resulted in a built in mudroom unit that was exactly what I was looking for.
