Gammon's Gulch is a living authentic ghost town filled with old buildings, antique autos, trucks and other 1800's to the late 1930'smemorabilia. This is a fantastic place for photography. It is not open to the general public, tours only. During the winter months they used to have published days during the week where you could sign up for a daily tour.

Jay Gammon provides a wonderful tour filled with information, history, and many stories about the various movie stars that appeared in a number of the movies filmed there. This is a fantastic place to visit.

my first recommendation is to give them a call, to make sure they're going to be open whenever it is you plan to be going there. It's two owners, and the wife is currently running it because her husband's in and nursing home. This means it's pretty much my appointment only.
This location is a little bit away from everything else, but I suppose that's a good thing. Every building here was built from scratch by the owner and his wife. That's something to really be respected. They've got quite a number of buildings here, and they lease the place out by the day or even by the month. They have a good size parking lot. It gives you some Fair idea of how life was way back then in the late 1800s. The furniture for the most part is very authentic. Very neat to see a telegraph office, an old time bank, an old time laundromat, blacksmith, etc the small Church / schoolhouse at the end is a nice touch as well. They even made a small mine area up the hill and a little bit behind the camp. All in all, it's slightly modest but in its own way fairly impressive considering it was all hand built. I appreciate their effort and liked the time my wife and I spent there. Will give it a good thumbs up.

Really enjoyed Gammons Gulch. Call ahead to make sure they have the gates open. Unlike Mescal Movie Set or Old Tuscon you can actually see anything, and they've got some props laying around. A fun walk thru.

I've been to Gammon's several times for movies. The location feels like an old west town. I've waited in many different buildings on set to shoot. The interiors sort of set a mood for the actors. Most of the interiors are film ready and need very little dressing up. Very cool place and fun to film there.

Wonderful place to visit. So much better than Tombstone - which is really just a tourist trap. Jay is a great host and made the experience really fun for us. Call ahead to schedule a tour. Jay has put years and years of hard work into this town, which really shows in all the details and its authenticity. We even saw a road runner on the property! So much fun!
