We recently experienced water damage after just renovating our kitchen. Jesse and his amazing team came out and gave us several different options so we didn't need to completely re-do everything. The whole process was easy. Communication was on point. We loved working with them so much, we had them build a vanity for our bathroom as well. We're currently saving our pennies to have them come do more work on our never ending home "to do" list! I highly recommend Brave Custom Woodworking Solutions.

The worst building experience to date and I have completed several renovations and new builds. We went to brave for the installation of an appliance garage/coffee bar. It was supposed to be completed in December but due to their improper measurements and subsequently poor installation, it is now March and my coffee bar still isn't finished. I do not recommend this company at all. I had to bring in my handy man to correct their deficiencies and match the paint (which they stated they did). Please go somewhere else.

Overall, we are happy with our cabinets, but unhappy with the experience.

Positive: The installers are great, especially Sergio! The cabinets are a nice quality.

Negative: Communication is lacking, and despite paying to have it professionally measured there were several issues.

The first measuring error resulted in a 5” gap between the pantry cabinet and a wall. Had the mistake been rectified in a professional way, we would not be leaving this review.

When the installers notified the owner/designer of the error, he came up with a solution of adding in a large filler piece without consulting us. We became aware that a solution had already been authorized, without our approval, when the installers showed up on day two with the filler piece. We called the owner and expressed our concerns. We requested the appropriately sized cabinet to fit the space he had measured. Two days later, we received a response that redirected the blame on to us. He stated that he didn’t think he should be held responsible for remaking the pantry cabinet, but also admitted to not noting that we wanted the cabinet to meet the wall during the paid consultation.

We were told “as the owner saw it” that our only options were to have the large filler piece; shift everything to redistribute that negative space; or leave it as is. We were never given a reason as to why they wouldn’t remake the pantry the appropriate size.

An additional measurement error was discovered when our appliances were installed. The owner/designer had our appliance specifications, and he showed in his 3D rendering that our fridge would be flush with the cabinets. However, our fridge greatly sticks out. We were supposed to have a 42” walkway, and now have a 32” walkway.

Lastly, a month and a half after the initial install, all remaining concerns were scheduled to be repaired. However, when the installer showed up, he had only been informed about one small part of the repair work. He was not given any of the appropriate material to perform the additional work. It then took the office over 24 hours to get back to us, and all their email had was a date and time when they could get us back on the schedule. There was no apology, explanation, or description confirming exactly what would be done to prevent another issue.

If you use this company, I encourage you to double check their measurements before moving forward (which, in our opinion, is ridiculous considering you are paying to have a professional measure the space). Additionally, closely inspect your cabinets and drawers. We found over half our drawers were splitting at the dovetail joints. As well as many dents, scratches and cracks throughout the doors and drawers. Our toe kicks were also not the appropriate length and had to be redone.

They had great design ideas for our custom built-in office with desk, and they revised plans and 3D drawings whenever we asked for a change or new feature (no matter how minor) until we were 100% satisfied with the design plan. The installation was very professional. The installers were extremely careful with transporting everything through our house, and the final product looks amazing. Brave really pays attention to every detail and provides top notch quality. We highly recommend Brave for anyone's custom cabinet needs!

We had Brave Custom Woodworking Solutions design, build and install a new wall entertainment center. We are very happy with the final product. We are impressed with their attention to detail and the responsiveness to our comments. They went to great lengths to insure that the style and paint color matched our existing crown molding. They worked with us in designing bookcase so that it was attractive and functional, including a customized pull-out computer laptop tray. The installation team did a great job and even added extra bracing so that we can mount a television on the unit and concealed the wires. Highly recommend.

We were very pleased with our custom built-in. The design consultation and measurement process was simple. We got to see and approve design drawings before finalizing our purchase. There were a couple minor issues with the initial install, and Brave responded very quickly and professionally to correct and complete the work. We would definitely work with them again.

We are very happy with our new built in cabinets. The entire process went smoothly. Brave was responsive with our initial request and getting the space measured quickly. The lead time estimate was accurate, no delays. Then, most importantly, the day of installation went great. The two workers who installed our cabinets were meticulous. They ensured our floors were well protected and worked efficiently to install our custom cabinetry in one day. They look absolutely perfect and we couldn't be happier with the final product!
