This is a really fun Distillery. It’s a great place to sit, try different cocktails. You can only grab lunch in the separate Cidery building. There was a lot of seating outside and spacious. There was limited seating indoors at the bar. It was a bit cold to sit outside, but if the weather was nicer, it would have been great to enjoy the outdoors. The store inside has various liquor bottles you can buy, however on a separate check from than the bar.

We started at the cidery for a few drinks and some amazing views. We then made our way down to the distillery for a change of pace. We sat at the bar and the service was very personable. We enjoyed a tasting of a few different spirits but we really enjoyed the spiced peach whiskey. We walked away with their straight bourbon, vodka orange crush, and the vodka to enjoy when we got home. Highly recommended! Can't wait to go back.

Came from NC with a load of empty bottles,,, took 29 to Colleen then left to 151 over a curvey mountain/hill to Nellysford,, all legal with semi,, but beware in winter you don't want to take that last stretch before reaching Bold Rock on snow/ice conditions, some steep serpentine curve to swing wide.

Unload quick,, do not go over bridge (small signs say no trucks) just stay at road that circles around bridge on your right , quick unloading, clean restrooms at Barn /Patio just opposite loading docks

Virginia DOT App (Truck routes) and Truck GPS show 151 to Avon and back to IS 64 as "restricted truck routes" what is incorrect.Took 151 to Avon, took right turn at roundabout back to Interstate 64, no restrictions whatsoever for trucks on that way back to IS64

Distillery seems to have venues,, scenic Aerea.Will try their cider.If there are more loads to deliver, I be back again

Great environment for friends, family, kids, and even dogs! The cider's were even better on tap. Pomegranate cider was great, and they even have a liquor menu specialty drinks at the distillery. Garrett's recommendations were great.
