Nice-looking courthouse in Lovingston, the county seat. The front/side lawn is adorned with a Confederate memorial from the centennial of the end of the war, as well as a memorial to the 153 persons who perished in the 1969 Hurricane Camille, one of the worst on record. Nelson County was unfortunately hit by massive flooding, so it is good to see their memories enshrined in this 1983-memorial. Cheers.
