They carry halal organic chicken(only with bones), they cut it in desired size pieces. They have a good supply of items.
Their customer service is a hit or miss. Some days they are nice and some days show cold attitude. They need to fix their parking area, a lot of mud.

Very poor customer service, even though I shared the store employees misbehavior with the store owner (he is a good guy), but I think his employees never listen to him. I never complain secondly I am not a type of customer who demand high level customer service, but please People / Customers want respect! If people bring you business please respect them.

We went to take goat meat, price was decent but we requested butcher to clean his working area and change gloves because he was handling beef. But he didn’t clean his space properly neither changed gloves as our request. So we left the place and didn’t buy.

As the holidays approached my aunt and I went on a hut to find goat head for Mannish Water. I called ahead and was told they had 6 unfortunately when I got there they only had one. To my surprise the head was stripped and cleaned! Costumer service was wonderful! They invited us in to see how clean the area was and cut the meat exactly how we wanted it cut. We will be returning and I recommend 1000%

Only one word to describe this place PATHETIC. We were traveling to Norfolk and wanted to pick some halal meat and grocery for our stay there. GPS showed this as an option so went there. 3 guys sitting there on their phones ignored us completely. Asked a question no reply so we left. Never saw this kind of customer service in my life. Worst place.

One of the rudest cashiers and staff I’ve ever dealt with. The cashier literally stopped scanning the items and started talking on the phone and left us hanging there. Not to mention the stores smells like sewer. Basically a horrible experience. Never coming back again.

Even they are not illegible for one star, believe me or not they have the worst customer service. Especially there are two people working there always (Samim, don't know the other one's name). Almost three years I am coming from Richmond 60 miles driving to this place for hahal meat but these people are using the name of Islam and doing there business.

One Star is Way too much for this place. I am NOT sure how they got their license; however; this place lacks everything related to Hygiene. The butcher has no understanding of what’s cross contamination is all about; as soon as he was done handling bunch of chicken; he started cutting meat on the same counter he was cutting the chicken on. When I voiced my concerns; the butcher got mad and he started mumbling in his native tongue. Dried Blood from previous order was still on his hands and he never washed his hands once while I was waiting there for my turn. I waited over 35 mins and you can observe customers walking in and out the prep area ; handling meat and utensils without washing their hands and they are all so dangerously close to the prep area ; they had no business being all over the area. Even one patronage was smoking and coughing and none of the staff directed him to stop. We waited for over 35 mins and none of the staff acknowledged our presence or asked us if we needed assistance. We left our meat and chicken order behind and we only paid for few grocery items. Unfortunately; one item was out of date; the pita bread was stale and the frozen Taro roots packages were moldy. There was a small rat going up and down the isles and when one of the staff saw me staring at it; he replied with a smile on his face; “we are animal friendly shop...”

Above the poor hygiene practices; above the staff rudeness ; above the selling of out of date stale merchandise and above the rats mingling with customers; the prices were outrageously high...
I understand as a Muslim we have to follow our religion and buy Halal meat; however; what I don’t understand how the owner can monopolize on selling Halal meat in the area at outrageously high prices...The owner considers himself a Muslim and he sells the only fresh halal meat in the area and he squeeze every dollar from the poor hardworking families just to satisfy his Creed...Please don’t believe anything I am telling you here..I challenge each and everyone of you to go to this shop and see if I am right or wrong...

I wish prosperity and happiness upon the owner and his staff; however; he needs to stop taking advantage of fellow Muslims ; he needs to provide a decent customer service and above all; we have kids and we need to be able to trust him selling fresh clean products. I urge you to change your business practices especially the store hygiene. Thank you
