Charming little resort in the middle of literally nowhere. The architecture seems to effectively blend gothic and neo-modernistic themes giving it a sense of warmth without being too overwhelming. The art-deco is a bit dated but it seems to work in a Bates Motel kinda way. Plenty of opportunity for outdoor activities including an outdoor gym or, if you are so inclined, an indoor weight room with adjacent yoga room. Nice, clean BBQ area with plenty of space for those family gatherings or a romantic evening for two. Ample covered parking and friendly, eager to help staff are a plus. Sad to see they took away the pony rides, but if you look around, you might be able to pet one of many friendly donkeys that can't wait to meet you and your car. Could definitely use a pool.
