My husband was an employee at this facility. He was on his way to work at his 3rd shift position in May and was hit head on. The accident almost cost him his life. At first the company/management seemed like they were concerned about his welfare. When he was unable to return to work when THEY felt he should have they found a reason to fire him. Despite the note from an Atrium health specialist stating he could come back on light duty, he was told by a supervisor they didn't allow light duty unless he was on a worker's comp claim. Sedgwick requires a date for short term disability paperwork to be submitted. His paperwork was submitted before his follow up appointment and mislabeled as full duty. My husband was unaware of this. Instead of anyone calling to see why he hadn't returned to work when they expected him to, they continued to add points to their absentee system and fired him because he was "pointed out". They then lied and told the unemployment commission he had abandoned his job, and had him disqualified for unemployment benefits. He had given almost 3 years to this company and it was all for nothing. During his time there he worked lots of overtime. They tell you you may work an occasional Saturday which is a lie. They probably work close to 50% of Saturdays. He paid into and became a member of the Union who was supposed to help him get his job back. There was no communication between the Union and him after the first meeting with management about his position, and he received a letter in the mail saying his claim to get his job back "lacked merit"! I suggest anyone considering applying stay as far away from this company as possible, and avoid wasting your money on Union dues. To them you are expendable and they'll just make the other shifts work 12 hours until they find a suitable replacement for you!

There is five of us trying to get unloaded. We’ve been sitting here for an hour and a half and cannot get in touch with anybody in shipping. The number provided on the door was used. I called every extension or possibility that number provided and no one answered the phone. I’m guessing I made at least 16 different calls.

6 hours to get loaded for outside carriers. However they will let you
park overnight. There's a gas station and bojangles across the street. Also a hardees wilco that has truck parking 1 mile east of here that has truck parking. Employees are nice and friendly.

About 1.5 hr live unload of paper rolls. Small backing area. Easy to find. They have overnight parking

Whether its your fault or NOT, as a driver ,if you show up late..they will work to help..but you gotta be patient. Remember it aint their fault either.
