Virginia American Water just completed their acquisition of the water system here in the town of Waverly. Waverly has a reputation for horrible drinking water so we'll see what they do about it!

For now, a newly patched part of our road sprung a leak I noticed. So I called, someone DID answer and she took the report and someone is out there now! Less than ONE HOUR response time... I'd say they're off to good start!

Charging me for dirty stinky water, no filtration or chlorine smells like rotten eggs. What am I paying for dirty water? Makes no sense. What services do you provide just pumping?

Company is the worst at customer service and letting customers know when their bills are due. Will cut off your water if you owe $0.01. And won't even let you know...they just come out and then it off. No phone call, no email, no nothing.
Their representatives need coaching on how to deal with customers. No empathy, no type of urgency when children are in the home...they just care about money.

Would give them negative stars if I could. By far the worst essential company. Customer service horrible home office in Tennessee is worse. As much as we pay in water customers should better customer service.

Terrible company water company knew nothing about work being done on street by public works the following days . Called to tell them my clean water smelled like rotten eggs im sure I'm not the only one 3/1/24 . They gave me a number to public works saying we can't help you which was closed . Customer service needs to be re trained .

Missed one payment because of mistake. No warning or anything service cut off after a talking to 2 representatives and paying bill was told service would be restored later in the day but surprise no surprise I still don't have water this company socks.
