We just bought a black walnut mantle and it came out gorgeous!! Rob was very knowledgeable and helped us pick out the perfect piece, and Annie, cleaned up the wood and enhanced its natural beauty. Highly recommend!!

What happened to this place? The girls at the front desk do not do nothing correctly. Jess and Jenny. Give horrible communication to the sawyer in the back. They reek of marijuana. And the two guys in the back Edwin and Danny. They are horrible. When I go back and ask for my order they have zero knowledge. And they look half drunk each time I go there. Mike is the only one who seems on point there. Rob the owner needs two fire these four people who seem to be destroying his business.

Rob and Jessica are great- I have purchased a lot of milled lumber from them. Rob is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Nice to have this timber source in the suburbs...

Board Silly and Rob, the owner, is a very unique and special place. They have everything in wood you could want and that’s great by itself. What sets them apart is the creative and caring customer service. If they can find a way to meet your needs they will and at a very fair price. A throw back to another time where handshakes and agreements was the core of how people operated.

I took my daughter here to pick out a reclaimed beam to be used as a mantle on her fireplace. The owner took his time and went through his entire inventory with her. I will be going back next week to get a live edge slab to make a coffee table. They only take cash or checks. Great place great people.

My experience was excellent! I went there with a burning question how much it would be to cut 2 logs into slices for school children under quarantine for art projects. He was professional, polite and answered my question since I’m donating the wood pieces. This is a great place to come for wood care, and needs. Excellent service! Thank you!
