I see an organized and well run operation. The attendants are courteous and helpful. The traffic flow is efficient. Areas are well marked. Containers have enough room so items are not overflowing. It costs money to properly dispose of materials. The ticket system is fair because expensive to dispose of items are charged accordingly.I like the addition of the compostables area. There is even a place where you can recycle books.

Poorly organized and managed facility. Typical town of wilton mismanagement. Has the first selectwoman ever been to this disaster? Doubtful but she probably doesn’t care about it either other than the cost to run it which she complains about constantly. People are not stupid and the value proposition to use the facility has to be there but the first selectwoman obviously doesn’t understand this point! All surrounding towns have wonderful setups so she doesn’t have to look far for examples! Glass is everywhere on the ground so take your expensive car tires there at your own risk! It’s sad that the town is so poorly managed and this “dump” is just one more example and such a lost opportunity to help citizens to economically dispose of waste and not be beholden to the ridiculous fixed prices of haulers. Town could do better but it simply is incapable. Sad situation. Typical town of wilton.

Another example of the horrendous public services provided by the town of Wilton. Ridiculously over regulated with fees on anything but sorted recycling. Actually it is such a joke it’s worth looking at using Norwalk or a private company. We need to vote out the people managing this public “service”.

The worst dump I've ever been to. Short staffed, overcharges PER ITEM. Thankfully some of the workers are understanding of how ridiculous it is but the manager is a joke. I guess because the dump is a joke!

I think it is run great! Having to pay to throw stuff away other than recycling is a feature not a bug, to encourage people to reduce or reuse rather than throwing stuff away.
