Great, convenient service, which wasn't available where I used to live. And it's really important to keep this stuff out of landfills, so this is a really important facility doing great work. And I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but I really wish Guilford and Madison would do a little more work to realize the maximum revenue and value from premium discarded electronics, by directing them to their best and highest use. 65" brand new-looking Vizio headed into the same void as all the other worthless old junk. I'm sure there are liability and staff bandwidth implications, but you'd think the upside would be high enough to be worth the effort to divert the cream of the crop items to upcycling or auction, instead of getting pennies on the dollar from a commodity vendor like Take 2. And if so, you'd think there could be significant environmental *and* revenue dividends.

Hours: Monday, Friday, Saturday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
Tuesday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Thursday 7:00 am – 11:00 am

This transfer station tends to be not to busy with places to dispose of most garbage including large items like furniture which you way and throw directly into waiting trucks, or separate disposal areas including areas to drop off batteries and recyclable goods as well as general garbage.
