Very knowledgeable, friendly, and more than willing to help! They had a great selection for any types of plants, flowers, shrubs or other general garden supplies! I couldn't stop myself from buying more! The products were well priced and such better quality than other large retail stores! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

One of my favorite garden centers!!! Diane is amazing. She's is able to answer any questions I have and if she's unsure she takes the time to look it up for me. I've never had a bad experience here.

I have purchased flowers and mulch there for several years, because I wanted to support local shops. Some of the staff have been friendly and helpful. However, everything you read in these reviews about Tim, the owner, turns out to be true. The guy was rude and condescending without any provocation. I mean zero social skills, which is fine, but not when you're in customer service...not when you're the business owner and dealing with customers. Disappointing!

We get bulk brown bark mulch from them, we usually order before the season for good prices. Delivery is reasonable but we pick it up ourselves in our pickup truck so we can easily shovel out of the truck right onto the right place. Last time we bought plants there they were very helpful.

This is my go to shop, great prices, quality plants. Yes, 'ole Tim has curmudgeonly days, but most of the time he is affable and helpful. People should not have such thin skin. I will trade a knowledgeable plant man and well cared for plants for service with a smile anyday.

Notice that they do not have a big turnover in staff. The staff comes back year after year and many of them are trained professionals with Horticultural certifications and advanced degrees. That says something about working there, and about Tim, and why you should return and support the local business.

It is more than supporting Tim, there are many families fed on this business. Stop being such princesses.

People don't understand that small business men feel like they're under attack . The credit card company has their hand in their pocket, utility companies have their hands in their pocket, the advertisers have their hands in their pockets----everybody wants something from you, and then the volunteer agencies coming around looking for donations. It's tough to survive in small business today when you're competing against large chain stores to work on Penny margins. Give him a break and support the local business anyway.

Unfortunately I have to rate my experience as poor. I went to the store today and bought $194 in flowers. This is probably my 3rd year purchasing my annuals at their shop. I came home and planted the flowers. They look really nice. I went into my home and picked up the local news paper and there on the front of the newspaper were coupons for Village Green. I called the shop to see if they had provided the coupon credit. A man answered and I explained that I had just made the purchase and I told him the amount and asked if they had honored the coupon price. He said he would call me back. He called back in about 10 minutes and he told me, I can bring the plants back in to the shop, bring in the coupons and there will also be a charge for this return since I had paid by credit card and the cc company charges them for purchases and returns. I reminded him that I had already planted the flowers. He said that I would have to return them. He did not offer a credit for the difference. Just the charge to bring the plants back that I purchased after planting and then I could use the coupons. I responded by saying I will post this policy on social media so others know about return policy , he laughed and said to me you are a wonderful person. I returned this response. Please be aware that you will be charged a fee if you return items if you use a credit card and they will not work with you if you happen to come across a coupon the same day that you purchase. I will have to bring my business elsewhere

I have purchased a lot of plants from this garden center in the last year. The women who work there are quite knowledgeable and very friendly. This morning I stopped by to check the price on some mums. I pulled up (idling) in the drive to check the price, before I parked to purchase any. I intended to buy about 20 ($260 worth!!). The nastiest man on earth yelled at me to move my car. He did not ask politely. He yelled and said "this is not a Dunkin' drive through lady." When I tried explained I wanted to see the price (literally one foot away from my car)and did not intend to park in the drive way, he just kept screaming "move your car." There were no other customers anywhere around and I was not blocking any that might come in the in 5 seconds it would take to check the price. He refused to tell me the price of the mums! When I said I would take my business elsewhere, he responded "Good". I will NEVER return to this center and I hope they get boycotted. This is a service business, and I have 4 other garden center near me where I am treated politely.
