Disappointing Hidden Charges After Purchase

I recently purchased a king-size bed from Amor Furniture in Hamden, and while I’m happy with the bed itself, I had a frustrating experience during the process. After finalizing my purchase, I was informed that if the headboard didn’t fit during delivery, I’d be charged extra for a technician to disassemble it. This was not communicated to me beforehand, which I find unfair. I had a feeling the headboard might not fit, so I would’ve appreciated knowing about this potential charge upfront before making my final decision.

Additionally, the lack of visible refund policies in the store raised further concerns. It’s disappointing to feel like you’re not fully informed during the buying process, especially when large items are involved. I believe this is something that should be clearly explained to customers before they commit to the purchase.

Overall, while I like the bed, I feel the store’s communication and transparency could have been much better.

Be aware he may give you floor sample without your consent. We ordered a sectional and it came wrapped instead of box and also missed sectional connectors. This is happens when someone takes things apart and forgets to put the items in. And same reason he was insisting me to pay the due earlier than delivery. I trusted them. To my surprise the furniture was delivered in wraps and was missing pieces. I guess that is why he wanted to collect money before delivery. If he gave me floor sample then it was without my consent and he told he has stocks in cargo. I went to get the sectional connectors and the display sectional was not there anymore. Beware to put full payment down before taking delivery. I purchased 4k worth of furniture from NJ and they collected money at delivery while this brother kept making excuses to collect money in full before delivery. This shows his true intentions. This is my experience with Amor furniture and but go ahead and judge urself. I would say be careful. Thank you!
