This bank is a breath of fresh air. Over several decades, many banks big and small, and business and personal accounts, I've had good and not-so-good experiences with banks.
The First Bank of Greenwich (Cos Cob) has been on the extreme good end. Without fail, the manager and staff have been tremendously efficient, patient and friendly. From opening my accounts, to day-to-day processing, to handling exceptions, they've been constantly diligent and accommodating.
In an age where decent service of any kind - let alone genuine and dedicated personal service - is a diminishing commodity, these people are, hands down, the best in the business and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

if you are a senior citizen, (or divorced), don't bother talking to First Bank of Greenwich - they will treat you like garbage. It is sad to see a bank that exploits and disrespects senior citizens as they do. Pathetic too, in a way, because it blocks the bank from working with an entire segment of the community.
