After spending hours deliberating over various window treatment options and suppliers, we went with The Shade Store and are really glad we did. Yes, they were somewhat more expensive than other options, but we feel it was worth it for the great advice and service we received from Amy Hurley and, then, the installers. Amy made excellent aesthetic and cost-saving suggestions and we love our shaded and drapes!

Shade Store and particularly, Amy Hurley in Greenwich, Ct were terrific to work with. She was in contact every step of the project and was a pleasure to work with. Could not have been more helpful. I do think the product is expensive and likely overpriced but for an impt room like a primary bedroom, it was worth the extra $$$.

Our experience with the Greenwich location of The Shade Store was amazing. Our shade consultant, Karen Tereshkow was knowledgeable, friendly and very responsive. Even on her days off or the weekend she quickly responded to our email requests with cogent and informative answers to our questions. She knew immediately what we needed and helped us design the perfect window coverings. The person that did our measure was also efficient and customer friendly and accurate. Our installer worked efficiently and got our shades put up in no time! And he cleaned up and removed all the trash as well. From beginning to end we felt comfortable with everyone we met at The Shade Store. It is a great experience I would recommend highly.

I worked with Amy to buy shades for my entire home. The process was long as I have several windows, but Amy was there to help with the entire process with design ideas and making the right choice. Ok, let’s just say, I have never, ever posted an online review, and I have experienced some great customer service in my life. But my experience with the Shade Store in Greenwich merits a breakout from anonymity. For the past few months, I have worked on decorating a new house and the decision making (this door knob or that one? Decorators White or Chantilly Lace?) was breaking me down! Just when I was about to hang sheets up on nails as window treatments, a friend directed me to Amory Armstrong at the Shade Store. The level of service she has provided is outstanding, from working with me on style choices and following up with the install, etc..She has great taste and has been someone who’s opinion I continue to seek in all areas of decorating. I love how she listens, gets a sense of your style, and makes it better! The Shade Store gets two thumbs up.

My experience with the Shade Store has been exceptional. I worked with Amory Armstrong in the Greenwich studio. She brought her background in interior design to bear when my choices were not the greatest and gave very good advice. She was extremely accommodating and patient throughout the process of outfitting my five-bedroom house with beautiful window treatments. The installers were extremely professional and efficient.
