This place was great The volunteers running it were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and answered every question we had. The experience is one of a kind, if you get the chance you should go.

Actual working sawmill Sawyers were very nice & knowledgeable. It was fun & interesting talking with them. Great place to visit Pleasant spot to relax by the mill pond as well. Highly recommend visiting here.

Actual working sawmill! Sawyers were very nice & knowledgeable. It was fun & interesting talking with them. Great place to visit! Pleasant spot to relax by the mill pond as well. Highly recommend visiting here.

If you are in to history and especially old manufacturing, this is the place for you. Totally restored by a bunch of insanely dedicated people. It's only run a few weekends in the spring and fall so you need to plan. I'll be going back.!!

Historical location of an "up-down" sawmill. Benches on both sides overlook pond; picnic tables, grill pedestals, porta potty & swings. Ample parking amongst huge oak trees providing lovely shade. A gem of Ledyard!
