We shop there 3-4 times a year. Big shopping.
Easter, Xmas etc.
Very unfortunate that no one would pick up the phone to take an order to make sure some deli items are available, especially if you have 1.5- 2hrs drive to get there.
Tried to ask several employees, even an owner or manager but no straight answer given.
It used to be much better few yrs back, I would say...
Stuffed cabbage it's pretty good, best of others around but so often they are out and you can't call and pre-order, because nobody would answer anyhow (tried multiple times).
Prices went significantly up since some time, not as competitive with other places there as they use to.
2-3 yrs back I would give 4 or 4.5 stars

Krakus has been serving the local community with amazing Polish cultural food and deli services. No matter what you get, you won't be disappointed; the pączki is amazing! The reasonably priced meats and cheeses along with the baked bread compliments any meal.

This place is definitely worth a trip from just about anywhere in CT. The selection of kielbasa and smoked meats is incredible and the price cannot be beat. Lots of Polish foodstuff and great selection of breads. I find new favorite things every time I go in. Got some great spices last trip.

The lady at the register is so rude it’s disgusting how she talks to the customers. I’m in disbelief!!! If you are so miserable then why are you working there? Absolutely horrible customer service. This place should remove her. That is not someone you want representing your business.
