Sent my Sony a7iii for a warranty repair. The packaging that it returned in was so prestige. The camera was also cleaned and came back looking brand new. Amazing job!

I recently sent my lens for repair, expecting a quick fix as promised. Unfortunately, the issue wasn't resolved, and the lens still doesn't focus properly. Dealing with this service was a frustrating waste of time, and I wouldn't recommend it to others seeking reliable repairs.

I have a Sony a7siii with Sony protect. I’ve seen negative reviews about this location online so it made me nervous when Sony had me send them my unit.

However I had the completely opposite experience. I never spoke or contacted them but they did a tremendous job on my camera and did it FAST! Had my unit back in 5 business days and camera was packaged well and returned fixed and cleaned.

If I ever have issues again I won’t have any worry or doubt to send it to these guys again!

Whether amateur or professional levels - one should get their camera's cleaned and calibrated properly periodically. I am into my third decade of utilizing the professional skill sets of PRECISION camera.
Quality output comes from ones "INPUT" - cameras and lens need attention - with quality maintenance, the "output" will be noticeable.
PC is second to nobody - that is why the Sony, Nikon, Canon and others have them FIRST -
One takes care of their $$ sports car - now take care of your gear-

14 days ago, I sent my BRAND NEW defective-out-of-box Sony A7R V in for what I thought would be a new replacement (as Sony support suggested, and the note explaining my expectations which I included with the package). I got a status update indicating the REPAIR would take several weeks waiting on a part. I didn't want a repair, I want a brand new unit without anyone disassembling/reworking something I paid full price for. So 7 days ago I called in and EXPLICITLY instructed them to cease any repair activity and to return the unit immediately. Now another week later I check the repair status and it shows the same status -- waiting on parts for repair. Looking at some of these other reviews, it no longer surprises me.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I sent my Sony A7RV in for repair due to a faulty USB port. I've called twice a week for six weeks, and each time I've been promised a callback, but no one has contacted me. I’m trying to get them to return my camera so I can have it repaired elsewhere. This has been an absolute waste of time and money!

I just got my camera back. They have no done anything. It’s very obvious that the hotshot is missing a piece. They are obviously working with people who have zero skills. I did file a complain with squaretrade . I am also blaming squaretrade for sending this to a company that does not know what they are doing. This is absolutely unacceptable. Picture shows what’s missing and what it needs to look like. Even I, a non-technician can see that there is a piece missing.

I sent my Sony A7SIII for in-warranty repair about three weeks ago. To be honest the bad reviews made me a little nervous but Precision Camera went above and beyond to keep me posted on the repair process and provide a great repair experience. At first the parts needed to fix my camera were backordered from Sony so the folks at precision camera were transparent an told me the parts weren't gonna arrive til July but they would talk to Sony to seek a alternate arrangement. They always answered my calls and responded to my emails almost immediately. James, the customer service rep for Sony products was great, he made sure he kept me up to date and eventually he got the parts to arrive earlier, my camera was repaired in a day, and shipped out the next day. They repaired it, cleaned it, and even updated it to the latest firmware. 100% will work with them again if I need another repair.
