It was a Sunday and I had a class ring that I had found her to clean out I went online to see who may be able to help me I was given specialty medals smelters and refiners and I left a message for them and within 10 minutes Dan called me back and gave me the pricing and was very helpful!! This is my second review but I think a recent experience with Specialty Metals is warranted so viewers can know what kind of service to expect. The material I send to SM is heavy and I have found that USPS flat rate boxes are the most economical way to send. A medium flat rate box full weighs 32lb and I had been sending 2 boxes at a time. But Dan informed me that it was more convenient for them to process 3 boxes, so I began sending 3 at a time. But the Post Office has been finding it too much for them to get 3 boxes, sent the same time to the same location, delivered on the same day and in the last 3 months they failed to deliver one of the boxes twice. Of 3 boxes sent 17 October, only 2 arrived. Knowing of a pressing need that I had, SM processed the 2 that they had and sent me an e-check. Then on Sunday, 19 November, I got one of those annoying i-phone messages that I had received a DM, which usually means somebody is trying to sell me something. To my surprise it was from Dan, informing me that one of the lost boxes had arrived 2 days earlier and had already been refined and an e-check had been sent. So ... an inconvenient amount for them to process refined in an astoundingly short time. That's the kind of service you can expect from Specialty Metals. Thanks Dan and SM staff.
